The staff is always so helpful in finding the right shoe for me. There is never any pressure to put me in a specific brand or price point. They make suggestions based on their considerable knowledge, let me try out the shoes and then make my decision. I have so much confidence in them I drive down from Atlanta every time I need new shoes.

Helpful staff. You can try the shoes on and test their performance in store prior to committing to purchasing them . 😊 The atmosphere is unique becauseof the location. Unlike other stores I don't have to go out my way or to a crowded mall where my expectations are not being catered to because the associate is trying to sale me whats popular NOT what I want.

All I can say is miraculous! I sent them my favorite pair of Birkenstocks I that bought in Germany years ago. After many years of wear, the cork footbeds and soles were destroyed. When they came back, I was absolutely astounded. They look brand new! Incredible. I can recommend without reservation; these people are miracle workers!

I have been going into Newsole for a year now. They were so helpful in helping me find a shoe(Altra) for my foot size(very wide feet). It's the only place that I'll go now for my shoes and I wish I had known about them earlier. The staff are very helpful and there's a curve treadmill to try your shoes out before you purchase them. And if you don't like them before a month's time... bring em back and try something else!

Dave is fantastic. I have stuck to bad and damaging shoes for years. He showed me multiple choices, all of which could work. There was another customer in the store returning what did not work. He was patient and lovely with both of us. Want the instore treadmill. Fantastic and unexpected resource in McDonough. Put the shoes on to write this review!

I have bought two pairs of altra shoes here. All of the staff have been incredibly helpful and taken there time to help me find the best shoe for me. I even did a jogging session around the building while Dave watched and recommended a different shoe. I go out of my way to buy here because of the customer service!

My husband had a pair of comfortable Ecco shoes but the soles and heels were badly worn. I tried sending them to shoe repair services that had recently been reviewed in the Wall Street Journal but that company sent the back saying they could not repair them.
I found NewSoles/Station Wagon Shoe Repair and send a photo of the shoes to them. Gary explained that they could not repair the shoes with new Ecco soles but that they could fix them with Vibram soles. I used a mail in program to revitalize my beloved but trashed Birkenstock's, originally purchased in the mid-90s. They arrived today and look brand new! Not only is it less expensive and more sustainable than a new pair, but now I can secretly re-live my glory days every time I slip them on. Love love love. :)

This place performs miracles. I sent six pair of well loved Birkenstocks to be resoled on October 11th. Nine days later they returned to me looking like new. The process is seamless and far less expensive than replacing six pair of Birkenstocks. Other services (and I checked into five of them) quoted higher prices and turn-around times of up to a month! Couldn't recommend more highly.

I am kicking myself for not taking any before pictures! I found this business online when my 15+ year old Birkenstock soles were worn down to the cork. I ended up going with Newsole because they promised a 6-7 day turnaround which was much shorter than other companies offering the same service. I elected to do my own shipping and return shipping using USPS two day service. I mailed my Birks out on Monday and was elated to receive them back the following Monday! I am so happy with the work they did replacing the soles and repairing the cork. I highly recommend them!

Station Wagon totally re-crafted my old Birks and made them look as good as new. They re-crafted my leather straps and attached them to a completely new footbed and sole, all at a price that was 1/2 of new. The overall experience, quality and turn around time was better than imagined. I am about to send off two more pairs.

Been coming here for years and they have been decent. The owner was there this time when I went in to bring back shoes that they repaired incorrectly. I explained to him that they had fixed them incorrectly and he then claimed that it could not be them. I told him I was charged quite a bit of money for the repair and then he told me that should not have been what I was asked to pay because he fixes the prices. Fact is I was charged more than he stated and then he asked me to pay an additional sum to fix what was already supposed to be repaired. After 20 years of coming here I am choosing to go

Extremely disappointed that I made a trip to take my luggage to the shop based on the Stellar reviews. The gentleman working on Saturday morning had the biggest attitude I've ever seen. He literally barely acknowledged me and seemed to be irked that I had bothered him. Unfortunately I do need my luggage repaired otherwise I would have turned around and walked out. If you can't give customer service and put a smile on your face and say good morning oh, thank you, or you're welcome then you really shouldn't be in a business that deals primarily with people and Word of Mouth. I took in a vintage boot where the back of the sole had come undone from years of wear and tear (the nail was still there and the sole was still fine, it just came out in that one spot, it seems like it'd be a relatively easy fix). They're from the 1940s and were just bought at a yard sale (but my feet are super tiny so it's rare I find shoes that fit and look great, so there's no just replacing these) so not too surprised they'd need to go to a cobbler soon.
I paid $24 to fix the one shoe. I came back

My dog ate the entire strap of leather on my Birkenstock sandal the only thing left behind was the buckle. I went to my local shoe repair shop and they couldn't help. I live in CT and found this shoe repair shop online. After sending an email description of my repair request they responded quickly and I shipped the sandal. I am so happy with the workmanship and fast turn around. I would recommend this place

Amazing craftsmanship on my very old Birkenstock sandal.
I sent it to another resole repair dealer and they returned it saying it could not be repaired. I took a chance on Station Wagon Shoe Repair and I am so happy that I did...they did a fantastic job making my old sandal look new again. It's over 25 years old and they don't make this style anymore. Thank you!!!

Great work generally. Would recommend. Had two things worked on and they did an overall job worthwhile. You're results may vary of course but this was a first experience and I'm happy with most everything that was done. I'd just recommend pointing out the things needed specific work because the obvious is not so obvious.

Good craftsmanship on two complete Birkenstock recraftings.
First pair is 32 years old and they look almost brand new and the fit is really great.
Second pair are my first pair of clogs from 1992. Another amazing recrafting.
Two things I wasn't happy with are:
1. The owner wouldn't allow me to use the 20% off coupon offered online, even still today. Take it down if you're not going to allow people to use it.
2. One of the staples on my clog's buckle came apart and they didn't call me and offer to fix it or bring it to my attention.
I would have paid to have any extra
