Had a site facing creek, across from bathhouse. Heavily wooded, spacious sites.showers were tiny but clean and good laundry facilities. The rv park is huge and all sorts of accommodations were available … several kinds of cabins, yurts, even a motel. The grounds are huge and even pens and hay towards back for people wanting to bring their horses and ride . The area near there has been cleaned out of underbrush and trees thinned due to Calder fire which came within 10 -15 miles. We were scheduled to go to Lassen Volcanic National Park, which was of course closed by the fire. Our visit was near

To whom it may concern, my husband and I reserved a tent space in may for a 4th of July 5day camping trip! We were told by Diane who runs the campgrounds that our site was 63! When we arrived on July 1st we were told our site was t9! 2 of our friends and their families reserved other sites and other friends were in cabins and rv sites! My husband and I were the only ones who signed a contract and paid 186 for the site to! Our friends came in and didn't sign because they were told we already did and they came to our site and said they were told this is it! I'm very very unhappy this happened and

Great RV Park. Only deducted 1 star as getting through the park is very tight if you have a large rig. On the plus side the camp hosts are all very friendly, the bathrooms are super clean. They have a laundry onsite. Hat river flows through the west side of the resort giving some space from the highway. Lots of places to fish close by and they sell kids fishing poles along with everything else you might need for fishing. There’s a spot about 8 minutes away to see the milkyway during the summer months. Burney falls was about 30-40 min north up the road. Lava tubes are about 10 min north also.

The Good: Staff was friendly professional and courteous. Average pricing for campground this close to a National Park. Two washers/dryers $1.50 a load.
The Bad: Low power fluctuations. Sunday through Thursday no problem. Campground was packed Friday Saturday, my surge protector kept popping off line. I’m no electrician but I Believe it’s due to low current. Secondly you have to pay for internet, not sure how you call yourself a resort with paid internet. It was @$8 for the week. Very slow and couldn’t upload pictures efficiently or more than one open page in browser at a time. Download 1
