Cruse Pumping and Backhoe Service, Inc. offers a wide range of services relating to your septic system. We pump all tanks including lift stations, repair or replace existing conventional systems, install new aerobic and conventional systems, provide yearly maintenance contracts for aerobic systems, perform aerobic repairs on a variety of brands, repair sprinklers and broken lines, and inspect existing systems.
The typical septic tank is a large buried cylindrical container made of concrete. A septic tank's purpose is to separate solids from the wastewater, store and partially decompose as much solid material as possible, while allowing the liquid (or effluent) to go to the drainfield.

Fix leaks and drips. If you replace old fixtures, install new "low flow" types. Do not overload the system -- this is the primary cause of system failures. Early morning and bedtime are peak water use times in the bathroom. Run dishwashers and washing machines at other times of the day. Don't do all the family laundry in one day.

I called Cruse Pumping and Backhoe Service to perform a septic inspection for a real estate transaction. Not only was Lori pleasant to talk to and responsive, this company was reliable! I called a lot of different places and there were so many grumpy people that wanted all of your information before providing a quote. Lori was professional and to the point with the cost for the inspection. They were also able to fit us in on short notice which was a life saver! Would definitely recommend this company!

Needed my septic pumped out prior to large gathering for Thanksgiving. Cruse came out with one day notice at a very busy time. Sam our technician was very bright, cordial and considerate. He backed his truck up during the pumping service to allow my aged father to access the garage when returning from running errands. Sam had to disconnect his hoses , back the truck up then reconnect. Mr. Cruse has a very valuable employee that gives his company a great deal of goodwill with his professionalism, demeanor and courtesy. I had an emergency issue with my septic system, and I have a new home. I could not get anyone from the builder to help, and I was at a loss. I called and got Ethan, who walked me through checking out the problem. He was the absolute most helpful person I dealt with all day and VERY sweet. He told me what to do, I got it done, and the problem is fixed. These guys are GREAT!!

I needed my aerobic system pumped and called Cruse Pumping & Pumping. Sam came out the very next morning. He was very pleasant, and he did a great job of cleaning all 4 tanks. My experience with another company was not so pleasant. I was told by the other company “that’s good enough” when there was about 20% left in the tanks.

Cruse pumped out our septic tanks, and did a great job. The staff member who did the work called ahead of time and arrived when he said he would. He was polite and knowledgeable, and didn't mind answering questions and explaining the process. This was a very good experience. We're glad to know we can count on this company to service such an essential part of our home, and that we will receive good service. We'll use them again in the future.
