I have been having the problem with my foot for years. I went to another doctor, he told that there are no options. The first visit with Dr. Polun, he offered me a solution and fixed my toe two days later. He even collaborated with the physical therapist on the phone. This doctor is absolutely awesome. His bedside manner is always great. Would recommend him 100%.

Dr Polun and his staff are AMAZING! I felt as if Dr Polun listened to me and exhausted all options before ending up moving forward with a surgical option. I had a bunion on each foot. I had the first done about 2 years ago and just had the second one done last week. Dr. Polun and his staff are very good. A special shout out to Karla Urbina. She was very helpful making sure everything needed was at the right place. Dr Polun is an expert at what he does and I trusted my feet to him. He did great with the first foot and I knew I wanted him to do my other foot. I highly recommend him and his office.

Dr. Polun spent the time and really listened to me on the journey to resolve my foot pain. Very patient, I had lots of questions. Eventually after trying conservative treatments without much improvement he suggested surgery. I am now 7 weeks out from my surgery and my foot pain has completely resolved. I had very little post op pain that was relieved with ice and Tylenol. On the road to recovery with some physical therapy. Thank you Dr. P.!

First off I was very happy to be able to get a next day appointment to have my foot looked at! The staff was very helpful and even called me in the morning pre-appointment to on board me to the patient portal to fill out all documents ahead of time. The office had clear COVID precautions in place. Dr. Polun took time with me to assess and understand my issue and x-rays were done in the office, which I appreciated. Afterwards, he took extra time to explain to me the possible diagnosis and next steps to take. Definitely worth the more than 20 mile trip to see Dr. Polun and looking forward to

Congenial staff, always helpful and I trust the good doctor totally (although I was a little nervous while he was removing the cast on my foot, using a hand buzz saw that looked like it came out of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre." But he done good and I still have 5 toes on my left foot (great movie title, don't ya think?). I now am wearing a very butch shoe boot and look forward to sleeping tonight sans caste, hallelujah and thank ya Jesus. And thank you Dr. Polun.

Dr. David Engorn is truly outstanding! I have seen numerous doctors over the years for treatment-resistant foot pain, and Dr. Engorn was the first doctor who ordered a foot MRI. The MRI revealed significant ligament and bone issues that did not show up on past x-rays. As soon as Dr. Engorn got to the root of the problem, he put together a plan for minimally invasive surgery to fix up my foot. I am feeling so much better and am so grateful for Dr. Engorn's knowledge, kindness, and suggestion that we try a different approach to investigate and resolve my pain.

Dr Polun is 1 in a million! The best! He is expert, professional, proactive, caring, responsive and really, really good at what he does. He diagnosed me correctly immediately, showed me my x-rays & carefully explained. He provided alternatives and a recommendation. For me it meant surgery; so, I had concerns. I travel & work out. I went to Dr. Polun on the enthusiastic recommendation of friends. I arrived on time for my first appointment, handed in my paperwork and sat down to wait. Thirty minutes after my scheduled appointment time, I asked the receptionist whether I had come at the correct time, thinking she would let me know what was happening. Dr. Polun is an excellent Podiatrist and performed the "Kidner Procedure" which is surgery for the "Accessory Navicular" on a family member's foot.
Surgery, as in "put you out" surgery. It was done at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD. He's done hundreds of these (ok I don't know the exact number) but it's a lot. I wanted that, rather than an orthopedic surgeon who has not done as many. No disrespect to either profession.
Rather than talk about his skill or even his bedside manner (both excellent) I would rather focus on Dr Polun's

I have been going to Dr. Polun and referring my clients for almost 15 years and this review is long over due. I can only say positive things, great bedside manner, extremely knowledgeable and very nice staff. I have been there unfortunately with more frequency of late due to a Morton's neuroma. True to form though Dr. Polun is hard at work treating the issue and the cure is working quickly. He is amazing with a needle and makes the injections I need for my issue as painless as possible. I have been a long distant runner for over 20 years. Even though the clinic diagnosed my problem correctly, the therapy and the solution left a lot to be desired. In fact, they released me to start running again. The clinic prescribed orthotics, but they were unable to make my orthotics

I highly recommend this office. From the front staff( which I find to be so professional and sweet) to Dr. Polun himself!
Dr. Polun has been so compassionate when treating our daughter who has autism. Anytime we need to bring her in, the front staff does whatever they can do. Even if we had to wait, we know they did what they could. I can't say enough about this office and you will NOT go wrong!!! I gave them the 5 stars, but they should get much more!!!!
