A bunion is a hard, bony knob on the side of your big toe. Bunions are caused by uneven weight distribution on your toe joint. Over time, your toe joint becomes unstable and your body begins to mold the joint into a hard bump on the side of your toe. Bunions are much more common in women; in fact, according to the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, over half the women in America experience bunions at some point in their lives.
Plantar fasciitis is the term commonly used to refer to heel and arch pain traced to an inflammation on the bottom of the foot. More specifically, plantar fasciitis is an inflammation of the connective tissue, called plantar fascia, that stretches from the base of the toes, across the arch of the foot, to the point at which it inserts into the heel bone.
Ingrown toenails, also known as onychocryptosis, are usually caused by trimming toenails too short, particularly on the sides of the big toes. They may also be caused by shoe pressure (from shoes that are too tight or short), injury, fungus infection, heredity, or poor foot structure. Ingrown toenails occur when the corners or sides of the toenail dig into the skin, often causing infection.

I had been having intermittent pain in my right foot for months! And I had heard it all from none professionals “hair line fracture” “maybe you broke it” “gout” “blah blah blah”. After having been fed up with the pain, I finally decided to make a visit to Patient First. At least they can X-ray and tell me if anything is broken. After 3 hours I was sent home with no information. The doctor had no idea what was causing my pain and I felt completely invalidated. But she did refer me to Dr. Gordon.
So I made an appointment. My guard was up pretty high because I’d been let down before

Absolutely fantastic doctors and staff. I had been having toe numbness for almost half a year, I came in and with a few x-rays they believed they knew what was wrong. Fitted my foot with a temporary orthotic to see if it would help, it did (somewhat) so on the second visit they did the full 3d scans of my foot to build one to fix what I had (morton's neuroma). While I was there on the 2nd visit, I reminded the doc that another option he had mentioned was injecting powerful steroids into my feet near the swollen nerve, and since I am not the scared of needles sort I would like to give that a shot

I’m really impressed with this place. I’ve never been to a podiatrist before and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect.
Reasonable prices for the uninsured, and I must say everyone that I dealt with before seeing the doctor was wonderful; the receptionist was very helpful, the nurse was SO pleasant and patient and doctor Hafner himself was also wonderful. Fantastic even. He listened to every single thing I said and took all of my questions seriously. He made sure I understood what he was saying to me when he described my conditions and possible treatments. He literally showed me a skeletal

My experience at Manassas Foot and Ankle Center was almost biblical. I hobbled in to my first appointment with Dr. Gordon, he touched my feet and I was heeled. He cut by hand some pads to put strategically on my feet and my pain went away instantly. Amazing!

Dr. Gordon performed a bunionectomy on both my feet and he did a fantastic job; no more bumps and no more pain! He was professional, kind and caring, and knowledgeable. His staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. I appreciated the follow-up after both of my surgeries, even during the pandemic. The office is clean and everyone keeps to the pandemic standards to provide a safe environment for its staff and patients. I have already referred a colleague to this group. They provide excellent service!

From the first phone call to the last appointment every staff member and doctor were helpful and friendly. Our son had a trauma to his toe, and the staff worked to get us in immediately. Dr. Gordon is on time, efficient, honest. We always felt taken care of and heard. We cannot recommend this practice enough.

I really love the front desk everyone is so nice and friendly. They really take the time to make you feel welcomed. Not many Dr. Offices do that now a days. The only thing that bothers me is that their waiting room is super cold, I feel like I need to bring a coat.
