I was nervous about doing online counseling. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to connect with the therapist. Not the case! My first appointment with Allison Gentz was like meeting up with a good friend after a long absence. Honestly, talking to her was like catching up with a friend that is supportive but tells you what you NEED to hear; not just what you want to hear. Allison is honest with me when it matters the most. She has provided me with new tools for my personal toolbox! :) I am very grateful. She is one of the most knowledgeable and engaging therapists I have met. She is great

Not professional at all. Folks go for help to a place like this but they never follow-up on anything. Dr. Ghani's office never followed back after first appointment though they said they would. I called and they scheduled a follow-up. Same thing after second appointment. No follow-up after 3+ weeks. Made me lose confidence in attention to care for their patients who are often working on very sensitive matters.

Not a good experience at all. My daughter was referred to them by her primary care but told to ONLY use one doctor, that the others are basically terrible. And, she was right! That doctor however is booked for like 6 months.
I'm not sure how they are still in business. They only contact you when they want money, they consistently forget to call in prescriptions for anxiety in a 16 year old. Doctors go missing for months and don't show up to appointments but then don't refill prescriptions they originally prescribed for minors. Very very unprofessional and just downright rude. Do

I have been working with my therapist, Allison Gentz, at Ocean Psychiatry, for the past few months, and can honestly say that she is one of the best and most knowledgeable therapists I have ever worked with in all my years of travelling and living in other countries.
What distinguishes her work is that she not only has a remarkable ability to pinpoint exactly where the problem lies, but also sets a very firm precedent in holding me accountable to make the changes I profess to want.

They called the cops to my home after lying to police!!!! They had the chance to help but instead made a conscious choice to hurt. Allison gentz gives one dimensional advice and I fired her. She
Then chose to over bill me and when I protested her insurance scam via email five weeks later she called the police and lied to them. She told them I was going to commit suicide so my home was surrounded and I was shamed before my neighbors and family. This office a creates trauma .. no one ever said a word about suicide . I sought to live better. This office affirmed it can not help wirh such an endeavor

I was referred to this clinic via the employee assistance program through my work. I reached out to the office to set up an appointment. The person on the phone was very helpful and took down all my info.
I waited 2 weeks, and they never got back to me. So I called again and left them a message asking them to return my call.
They called and emailed me 2 days later. They said that my insurance did not have a record of sending me there. I replied to their email again clarifying that this was not supposed to be through my insurance, but through the assistance program.
That was 4 days ago, and

The first thing I experienced with Ocean Psychiatry is the super helpful office staff. In the age of virtual appointments, Roxanne & her colleagues went above and beyond what I expected and provided me with outstanding patient service.
Dr. Ghani is an excellent clinician. He was able to create and establish a treatment plan that I believe will be my pathway to a higher level of emotional and physical wellness. His professionalism & communication skills, combined with compassion, is a hallmark of his practice.

Can't say enough good things about Ocean Psychiatry, the staff is amazing, great communication with patients. Dr. Ghani was been nothing short of a miracle. Four stars for now, but I'm sure that it'll be five stars in no time! I heard about this place from Fremont Hospital and was super excited to try it out. It was a little difficult to find, but once you know where it is, you won't have trouble again. The receptionist was super kind and helpful, as was the therapist that was currently there (whose name I unfortunately didn't catch). The therapist also has a therapy dog with him, but told me whoever is uncomfortable with the dog can have it not be present for the appointment. Overall a very kind and professional man. Tiana is the first person you'll deal with when calling and she will make you comfortable and relaxed about the process and how/what to do. It's never easy when you have to deal with mental issues but Tiana makes it easy and relaxed. Dr. El Sokkary is great,he pays close attention to the conversation,laughs at the jokes and is sorrowful during the painful times. He teaches you tools for dealing with painful past experiences and shows you how to move on with healing, he makes you comfortable to talk about anything that you have to say.
