We have a car bottom furnace, a gas fired box furnace and tempering furnaces to help us complete the job at hand for annealing, normalizing, stress relieving, open fire hardening and more. We have the capability to blast steel, stainless steel and aluminum using our steel shot blast room and our Aluminum Oxide blast room.
Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The coating is applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin". The powder is a thermoset Polyester. It is used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint.
B&W Heat Treating is pleased to announce that we have added a paint/protective coating process to our business scope. This addition comes in the form of 2 brand-new state-of-the-art GFS booths, with capacity up to 30'L X 20'W X 14'H. They are housed in our new 5800 sq. Our newly installed Global Finishing Solutions pressurized heated spray booth can accommodate parts that are 30' long and 16' wide.
