Grand Polish Bakery

Disappointing! I drove 30 minutes one way to get there, based on the gentlemen's comment that this was similar to a Chicago Polish deli. However, I must respectfully disagree sir. This is NOT a suitable substitute for any respectable Polish Deli by Chicago standards. Maybe it was in pre-covid times but, it wasn't very GRAND as of 2022. For example: I didn't see any fresh bakery desserts - at all. There were a couple loaves of bread but, overall, this isn't a GRAND bakery - as far as bakeries go. There were also no fresh deli selections; everything was prepackaged & either frozen or vacuum sealed

The Grand Bakery is a truly polish hub where you can find anything polish food wise, from prince polos and great desserts to sausages, mushrooms and pierogies. I lived in Chicago for 10 years and this store could make it there among all the polish, who when it comes to their food, they dont screw around.

Saw comments posted here and decided to check out. What a disappointment. The bakery case photographed here is about all (or less they have to offer). Everything is plastic boxed with exception for a few cake slice choices and few loaves of bread. It is basically a grocery store, NOT a bakery. They were loading a truck from entrance door with boxed goods; like they were warehousing. Didn't get a "this is a clean store" feeling either. If you need Polish packaged items, it would be ok, but would skip bakery.

Wonderful to hear Polish spoken. It's been so long as haven't heard it since my grandparents passed. Also the bakery was of course delicious!

If you live in the Atlanta area and have not been here, you need to go for lunch. Great sandwich's and cakes. You don't need to be Polish. If you don't live near here, it is well worth the drive to get all your Polish necessities. AND as an added bonus, the ladies are absolutely amazing and sweet.

This place is fantastic!!! My spouse is from Poland and we drive 40+ miles several times a month just to stock up on goodies here. Everything in the store is direct from Poland or the Polish community in Illinois, and their homemade baked goods and even frozen prepared meals are excellent. (We recommend their golabki, stuffed cabbage rolls.) Come on a Friday or Saturday to get Polish donuts (paczki) filled with fruit jam or cream. The fresh baked bread and frozen pierogi and sausages in the fridges are great, and the place is packed with Polish goods you're unlikely to find elsewhere. Explore thoroughly

Slim pickens. Staff don't know the difference between Pączki and Kiffles. if you miss scarcity of the former east block you will feel at home here.

Amazing! Delicious foods and fresh bakery items! So happy to have a resource just an hour away to fill up on these cultural delights from my Polska history!

I drove 1 hour 20 minutes to go to this place and it did not disappoint. Pierogi's of any kind, kielbasa, dumplings, farmers cheese, horseradish,breads, noodles, pastries and homemade breads. It is a polish bakery and store.

As a Detroit native, I panicked after moving to Atlanta, not knowing where I was going to get my pączki . The Polish Club of Atlanta pointed me to the Grand Polish Bakery, and all was right in the world. This charming family bakery and deli has incredible baked goods and the best customer service. By the way, the pączki z różą is heaven.

Ordered my Paczki and I was very happy with them, not many places in this area to get them. Very tasty!

I absolutely love this bakery, everything is absolutely delicious. i found everything is needed, i dont need to drive all the way to Chicago for my holiday must haves. i will be back and will tell everyone i know to visit.❤❤❤❤❤

Part of my family was from Poland and the Ukraine. Was so excited to find a bakery that makes the treats my grandparents used to make. I drive an hour and a half and it's worth it!!! I would be broke if they shipped out!

Good price for what you’re getting.Always fresh made from scratch and not too sweet, unlike you’re Publix or Kroger generic desserts. Plenty sweets to choose from and tons of little goodies to grab on the way. Highly recommend it!

What a great place! The moment I walked it was like a trip down memory lane when I used to go to the Polish markets with my mom and grandma. Great selection of foods, baked goods, and meats....oh and the Pierogi...It's hard to pick just one flavor! Everyone is so helpful and friendly, and you just know they love what they do. We found this gem when we were frantically looking for Lamb Butter. I am happy that it is so close to our town. The pastries are Polish authentic and taste unbelievable. It has a small store of Polish imported food.

Missed the donuts😒 but got the cake with cheese cake and apples! Super Yummm! Real authentic polish market, reminded me of shopping with my grandma in Milwaukee😍
