I am a Reiki Master/Teacher originally from Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in English Education from West Chester University. My Reiki journey began in 2005 and since then I have completed Reiki I, II, and Master/Teacher in the traditional lineage of Mikao Usui, as well as Karuna Reiki(R) Master levels I and II.
In 2015 I continued expanding my healing practice by studying shamanism. Shamanism has helped me enhance my daily spiritual practice and reconnect with both nature and my intuition in a powerful way. After spending over a decade practicing Reiki in San Francisco I moved back to West Chester, Pennsylvania in 2018 where I continue to share Reiki through individual Reiki healing sessions and classes.

I'm so glad I decided to start going to Kathy for Reiki treatments. It's always a very relaxing experience and I always come out feeling very centered and calm. Going for weekly treatments is great because she's able to map out the flow of your energy and really help you deal with any issues you might be going through that are causing negative energy.
The founder of Reiki as natural healing is Mikao Usui (1865-1926). Though not much is known about Usui we know that he originated the system of healing after a mystical experience on Mount Kurama. In 1922 Usui opened his first Reiki clinic. One of his students, Chujiro Hayashi, a retired naval officer, was seeking a way to serve others.
During a full Reiki treatment the practitioner directs healing energy to several areas of the head, the upper body, back, legs and feet. The sensation felt by the recipient of a Reiki treatment is usually a comforting warmth and deep relaxation. Reiki supports and accelerates the body's natural healing ability by correcting energy imbalances and restoring harmony to body, mind, and spirit.
