I am blessed to be married to Ricky, and I am thankful to be raising two young sons in beautiful North Carolina. I can say that trip changed my life. I came back from Africa knowing that there had to be more to life. I knew God was calling me make changes-personally and professionally-and in 2014, I discovered my passion for coaching.
As a coach, I partner with you as you pursue your best life. Working with me offers a unique opportunity to incorporate Christian principles in the coaching process. Using a structured action plan, we close the gap on the journey toward your goals, whether that involves discovering your God-given purpose, balancing a busy home life, moving to the next level in your organization, changing career paths, writing a book or opening your own business.
One critical issue facing some ministry leaders today is isolation. This may be due to painful experiences associated with criticism, betrayal of confidences, or simply the overwhelm of the needs of your ministry. As a coach, I partner with you, as a ministry leader, in a way that is outlined in Proverbs 20:5, which says: "The purposes of a person's heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out."

I recently attended Fill your Joy tank with Jo Heather. I was curious about this topic and wanted to gain better insights on how I could live an authentic life of joy. This workshop enable us to define joy, understand what it feels like, and gave me tools and actions that I can use in my daily life. Thanks to Joy Heather and Kathy for creating this engaging workshop. I would highly recommend this to others as time well spent.

Jo Heather’s Fill Your Joy Tank” retreat was fun and inspiring. Her joy-themed program offered insightful discussions, interactive activities and tools as to living a joy-filled life. I especially enjoyed the breakout sessions and “Paint a Picture with Words” exercise, even though writing a poem or lyric isn’t one of my strengths. Jo Heather’s coaching expertise and passionate support were evident as she led the three-hour virtual retreat.

Jo Heather's "Fill Your Joy Tank" virtual retreat was a refreshing and inspiring session on how to purposely find and make space for joy in your life. Thoughtful question prompts, group discussions, and useful action steps were all discussed and examined in a safe and welcoming environment. Jo Heather's positive mindset combined with her coaching expertise and desire to help others made this an encouraging time.

I attended a virtual women's retreat this past Saturday led by JoHeather on the subject of "Filling Your Joy Tank" and I can't stop thinking about it. It was great connecting with so many other women and sharing stories and views about "Joy". The curriculum was geared toward taking you through a journey and expertly executed. If this is offered again in the future, I highly recommend to anyone to attend. It is time well spent.

I participated in "Fill your joy tank" virtual retreat and I can't say enough about the event. It was very well organized and fulfilling to participate in. So much was packed into the 3 hours, and yet it was not rushed at all, it had a well balanced schedule. I was grateful to be a part of this and I look forward to future events.
