If you're looking for someone who calls themselves a clinician, I'm probably not for you. I consider myself a counselor because I have yet to find a Bible translation that refers to Jesus as a therapist. He is always called Wonderful Counselor. I believe we're all born on purpose to fulfill a purpose and mine is counseling with intention.
My name is Myla Erwin, and I'm a Soul Care Practitioner, with a heart for women and couples, and helping them live their best lives now. My desire is to improve the wellness of individuals, families, and the community by living a life that embodies solid Biblical principles, inspires hope, and impacts others in ways that lead to change and transformation from the inside out.

Services
Do you need help setting boundaries with loved ones? Have you always had the answers for everyone else and now you're just completely out of steam when it comes to your own life issues? Maybe you are in a season of life transitions and need some guidance figuring out which way to go? Perhaps it's a relationship issue or career change, a wayward child or unresolved grief over a loss too deep to share with anyone else.
I've been through a few trials by fires, and personally found traditional therapy can sometimes be a bit cold and clinical, as well as quite expensive. I promised myself that I would never make the people I served feel uncomfortable, judged, or as if I felt their issues were contagious and unpleasant.
Counseling looks back and helps you understand how you got to where you are and why. You must very slowly process the past before you can begin to understand today and plan for tomorrow. Hours are by appointment on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 11:00am-8:00pm (last session begins at 7:00pm); and on the first and third Saturdays of each month from 10:00am- 2:00pm (last sessions begins at 1:00pm).
Have you ever made a mistake and thought that your life was over? That you had messed up beyond repair and nothing, I mean nothing, could salvage things, so you might as well throw the baby out with the bath water? If this sounds familiar, this book may be just what you need to read to change your perspective.

It was a hard decision to switch from my therapist of 18 years to work with someone new, but it was one of the best decisions I made for my mental health to start counseling with Myla. My favorite thing about Myla is that she helps you identify tools to cope with whatever you are dealing with in your life so you can grow and move through your issues or concerns with confidence. With Myla, I always leave the session with a clear understanding of what I can do to improve. Myla’s help has been extremely valuable to me in my healing, self acceptance, and in learning to set healthy boundaries. Not

Myla is an amazing Christian counselor. Her passion for helping others is evident in her work. From the very first session she made me feel at ease. Her wisdom, transparency and the non-judgmental atmosphere provide an environment where you can be open, honest and receptive to feedback. She encourages you to challenge yourself and provides the tools to navigate through whatever life throws at you. I highly recommend Myla to anyone looking for a quality counselor who helps peel back the layers and works with you to heal your whole self.

Life can bring us through challenging seasons and talking it out with someone can help tremendously. Myla is honest, compassionate and accessible and brings professionalism, wisdom and discretion with her. She is a Christian counselor and is not judgmental. If you decide to book a session with her, you will not be disappointed.

Higher Level is the best! Mrs. Myla is very attentive and caring. If you're looking for non-judgmental yet sound Biblical advice, she is your person. Very professional and always on time. She offers Virtual sessions for the times we are currently living in. Setting appointments are easy, could not ask for a better experience and counselor.

As the saying goes for me, I never left your presence feeling the same way I came (Winter, 2011). I will forever be grateful for our nine year journey together - in which we met during your Peer Support Specialist Season. You always made space for me to be and room for me to feel and embrace all my emotions. In the midst, your have taught me so much about myself and how to have patience on the journey, especially with myself. You heard the depths of my pain in that winter letter addressed, to whomever will listen, and shined your light my way and never gave up on a such a strong, stubborn, hurting

I have worked with Myla throughout the last several years. She is a wonderful life coach. Sometimes we don't know we need a life coach until we meet the coach. As a christian life coach, Myla is prepared to meet you where you are in your walk in faith and share God's love and word with you. She is patient yet gets you to where you need to be at your pace, helping you through each session. As a woman who has seen much in her life, her insight and wisdom will encourage you to live your best life as well. I highly recommend Myla as your next life coach. Prayers and faithful thinking always - Stephanie
