We had protective film applied to both of our cars: a Porsche Taycan and a Tesla Model Y. We were referred by an employee of the Porsche dealer and were not disappointed. Excellent attention to detail, fair prices and very friendly service. I quoted 3 shops to have the chrome delete (vinyl wrap) done on my Audi. One was way more expensive, one very slow to respond and so based on their good reviews I chose 68 Auto Detail. They responded quickly with a reasonable price and got me in a few days later. Henry showed me some of their work in the parking lot as I dropped it off and it all looked great. When I picked up my car, I inspected the now gloss black trim (mirror caps, window frames, sills etc.) it looked like OEM parts with no visible flaws. That means you get a great price and they work fast, but that means that they don't generally cut custom sizes to be able to wrap around the edges and hide the lines (If you're looking for that, just ask; they might, but I didn't know about this so I didn't ask). I've been asking friends for recommendations for tinting their Teslas. 68 Auto Detail was top of mind for my friends, and friends of friends. Living San Francisco, I was a bit hesitant in driving down to South Bay just to get my windows tinted. I looked around and asked for estimates from other tinting businesses, but the value could not be beat since their prices were competitive. It became a one stop shop for me since I got my Model 3 ceramic tinted all around (including windshield) and also my calipers painted a custom color. Excellent service! They spend time on each wash (like 2 hours +), and don't try to sell you anything you don't need. In fact on my first trip here I came in asking for a wash and wax when the owner advised me against it saying my car was already clean and didn't need a wax (I had got a wax a few weeks before). I was excited about my new car and was ready to pay for extras, he told me a car wash is all I need. He said he believes in doing the right thing and earning lifelong customers as opposed to cheating someone for a quick dollar and never seeing them again - gotta appreciate

Been a customer for 5+ years and will forever be a customer with every car I own. Brought my 2019 Model 3 in 2 years as soon as it was purchased for the standard PPF, ceramic coating, and tinting. 2 years later and my car still looked immaculate. Great experience with this shop today....
I'm visiting from out of town with my AMG Mercedes and needed to get a cost effective and quick detail of the exterior for a car event/show I'm in tomorrow.
I drove from Lake Taboe during a snow storm in my car and if you know what that's like; then you can imagine how disgusting the exterior was.
With 20 minutes notice, they squeezed me in, and got my car polished and cleaned up within an hour.
Couldn't have really asked for much more woth 20 minutes notice; an hour before they close...

The guys at 68 Auto constantly surprise me. (as you can see it's my most reviewed business. this is my 3rd review lol). This review is for their wheel repair service that they outsource to a company in Santa Clara. Knowing that Shawn and Henry are perfectionists, I didn't even need to research the company before feeling comfortable dropping it off at 68 Auto. I can't reiterate enough that they treat your car as if it were their own. It's also nice that they are expanding their services, making them a one-stop shop. Especially, during covid times, I prefer to limit bringing

Tinted two cars here. Great experience! Henry is very knowledgeable and takes the time to walk you through the process. He helps you select a tint. They use a ceramic high quality tint.
You can choose to do the back windows, front side windows, and/or front windshield. Most people use 35% with the second most common one being 50% (lower numbers means darker color and more sun protection). For the front windshield, most people do blue 80% to protect against UV. We opted to do 35% in the back, 50% for front side windows, and blue 80% for the front windshield.

Called to see how much it would be to complete the install for my Demon Eyes for headlights. Mind you, I advised them the only thing needed is to mount the RGB controller and connect it to power. All other hardware, wiring, and headlight is complete. They quoted over $1000 for about 1-2 hours of work. That is outrageous. I could see if I purchased the entire headlight kit from them but who charges $500+ /hr for labor.
