Arctic Refrigeration was established in 1947 by brothers Henry and Leo Mager. In 1977, after much growth, Arctic became incorporated and moved the operation to its present location at 26 Cedar Street in Batavia. Over the next 8 years, Henry's three sons (Richard, Michael, and William) joined the business to help with the growth and future of the company.
When Henry and Leo "retired" in 1988 and 1991 respectively the three sons took on the roles of corporate officers and operators. Soon after his "retirement" Henry's daughter Teresa took the position of Office Manager becoming the fourth of Henry's six children to take on the family business.

Since the beginning, Arctic has kept many of our workplaces, factories, schools, doctor's offices and restaurants very, very, comfortable.
Arctic Refrigeration has been designing, building and servicing of refrigeration & ventilation storages in the Northeast United States for over half a century. Owner Michael Mager is at the industry forefront. He is a regular speaker for many agricultural organizations including Cornell Univeristy & Rutgers University.
Make sure your air conditioner and furnace pipes are free of debris, bushes and clutter. Both Fall and Spring are the seasons where you may need to run both your furnace and air conditioning in the same week! Check for blocked, clogged or dirty condenser coils and furnace flues, all of which can rob your equipment of its efficiency, keep it clean and save some green!.
