To be honest, I only write reviews of extreme service experiences, and in this case I am extremely happy. David Kim deserves six stars, five for every dimension of expertise and service quality, and one extra for resourcefulness. I presented him with a double challenge when my wine cellar refrigeration system failed - esoteric legacy (read unfamiliar) technology and critical time constraint. David's ingenuity, determination, and timeliness left other local bidders in the dust.

We have used David from priority refrigeration for 2 1/2 years and he has always done great work for a fair price. We have used him to work on replacing compressors, fan motors, and pumps on our coolers and walk in refrigerator/freezer and ice machines. He has always been on time. And when we had an emergency with our walk in freezer going down he showed up the same day when no other company could and fixed the issue. With that being said I highly recommend this company.

Dave, the owner of Priority Refrigeration, is the best I have ever used in my 27 years in the restaurant industry. I own a restaurant, Marzano, in Oakland. He has helped me out numerous times, on short notice, and is extremely helpful with insight to help upkeep your refrigeration going forward. Customer satisfaction is top priority here. I was very satisfied with my experience with Priority refrigeration. They were able to get be an appointment for our industrial freezer in a few days. David Kim was very professional and efficient. We had a few issues in accessing our roof that he needed to check, and he was very patient. Our freezer was fixed and the cost was inexpensive. Thank you for your great service!

I have a cake shop and my main display fridge broke. I called David and he was able to schedule a time within couple days to come in and check even though it is not in the area. After a quick check he was able to find the problem, replaced the compressor and everything was working again within an hour. David was very nice, provided excellent service and followed up after few days to see if everything was ok. My fridge works great now even better than before. I am very happy with the service and I will definitely call Priority Refrigeration for my future repairs.

Sometimes you just get lucky. Freezer went out in my frozen yogurt shop (Menchie's). A huge problem to say the least. Calling in a frenzy to get some help we ran into David Kim. Couldn't have been nicer, made an after hours visit, reasonable rates and extremely knowledgeable. Problem fixed and made a new friend. Just wished Yelp had 10 stars.

I have been using David for several years now. I have a small bar in San Jose, an area he usually doesn't service, but I willingly pay an extra fee for time and travel because I don't want anyone else touching my equipment!
I've had the bar for 24 years. I have 1 walk-in, 2 reach-in and 1 draft cooler. I have gone through at least 10 different guys and companies over the years. Never have I had such competent repairs and service.

David has serviced the multiple refrigerators in our cafe, but when we got a used ice machine that failed to produce ice, I went with another technician based on a recommendation.

Called on a Saturday morning and the technician, David, picked up right away. I told him about my refrigeration problem and he was able to come in within 30 minutes. The service call alone was $40 (I'm in Alameda), which was reasonable compared to other places I've reached out to on Yelp. The refrigeration problem was fixed in about an hour. When asked about other appliances (which is not in his area), David tried his best to help. He was able to increased the flame on my stove and shut off the pilot on the ones that I don't use. He also didn't charge me for this part ;).
