Our tent sites are all in a wooded portion of the campground, just a short walk away from the bathhouse. Sit in the quiet and listen to the birds chirp while you have your morning coffee. All sites have a fire ring and picnic table. All site rentals are for 2 adults & 2 children, all extra adults are $7/per night & children are $5/per night.

Great little campground in the perfect location for visiting Moosehead Lake. Campground is not fancy (which is reflected in their rates) but very nice. Our site was huge and set in what looked like a old apple orchard. Basic amenities include water and electric. Friendly and helpful owners. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again when we are in the area.

We are full time RVers and have traveled the country and stayed at dozens upon dozens of campgrounds. We just checked in and set up at our site here at moose head family campground. The man and woman that checked us in (the owners, I presume) are just about the nicest people we have ever met. The campground is nicely laid out and our site #8 is huge and wonderfully forested. When you’ve been to as many campgrounds as we have, you know a real gem when you see it. This place is one of those.

We were here years ago. The new(ish) owners have kept the nice small quiet atmosphere and made improvements.
Most of the RV sites are twice the size other most places we have stayed.
The RV sites have water and electric (30amp). For a small fee, the owner will dump tanks on site. The dump station is wicked accessible. If you're one of the set up that stays mobile, it's simple to do your own.
This is the kind of place one stays at to see the area or have a quiet time in the woods. There is a small playground and bikes are allowed.
The campground is just off the main road into Greenville. Noise

Family campground, closest to downtown Greenville. Clean and pretty spacious sites. Small playground for children. No swimming or other activities available at the campground. Bathrooms were clean enough but a bit outdated. Showers should definitely offer more than a curtain for privacy. Overall pretty basic, no thrill campground.

Lots are a good size and the neighbors aren't too close. The amenities are rather basic (water & electric only), there is a dump station. The bath house is rustic and in need of improvement. Don't expect KOA standards here and you won't be disappointed. No refund policy for early departure. First Responder discount available.
