At Happy Tails Veterinary Clinic, we recognize the magic that is the human-animal bond, and we honor that bond with every appointment by using low-stress techniques to make our clinic as fear free and stress free as possible. We know that pets are family. After all, we have furry family members, too!
We also provide the best medicine with laboratory equipment right in house to obtain blood results in about 15 minutes and digital x-ray, which allows long-distance consultation with specialists without having to make the trip to Columbus. But, equally important, we offer options with absolutely zero judgement.

Services
If your pet is having an emergency when we are not open, please refer to the numbers above for care. Inability to urinate or pass feces (stool), or obvious pain associated with urinating or passing stool. You suspect or know your pet has eaten something poisonous (such as antifreeze, xylitol, chocolate, rodent poison, etc.).
If it has been over 12 months since Dr. Harriman has physically seen your pet, please call to schedule an in-clinic exam. This notifies us when you'll be in the waiting room, and it allows for consent paperwork to be signed as well. Video works better than photos, because pets are wiggly, and it's much easier to pause a video at a good view than it is to get a good photo.
I grew up in Gahanna, then moved far away, earned my Bachelor's in Wyoming, lived and played in Alaska for a while, went back to Vet School at Colorado State, then realized you can take the girl out of the Buckeye State, but you can't take the Buckeye out of the girl. So, along with a couple two-legged and a few four-legged kids I've acquired along the way, I'm back home, building the kind of practice I'd want my family to come to.
Losing a furry family member is without question one of the most heart-wrenching things one can go through. Additionally, having to actually make the decision to actively help your beloved pet cross over can be downright agonizing. We consider it a tremendous honor to support families as they navigate the crossing over process.

Visit was fine even though they cancelled my scheduled visit and rescheduled so I had to the adjust my work schedule, otherwise it would have been weeks before they could accomodate. They didn't provide an accurate estimate of everything my pup needed that they emailed me prior to visit. Pushed the Lyme vaccine a bit too hard IMO. I had to ask about my dogs weight and the response was "I wasn't going to say anything, but since you brought it up he should loose maybe 10lbs"...whats the point of a wellness check up if you're not going to tell me my buddy is chunky??

Took my very timid puppy here for her first round of shots and the vet and tech both took their time and allowed her to warm up to them before trying to administer the vaccines, which made the experience much easier for both of us. They explained the entire process clearly, and took payment from the small exam room so I would be able to take her right out rather than wait at the front desk. I had previous experiences with my other dog where her first vet visit was traumatic, and she disliked the vet for years afterwards, so I wanted to make sure that didn't happen again, so this was a good choice

My vet moved to this office. Everyone here is nice. But just wanting to take my dog in for rabies shot. They first send someone in to give me a list of prices of their services. I felt like i had just been worked over by a used car salesman. When I scheduled the appointment they gave me a price for visit, shot and flea meds and I left paying twice as much as I was told. My vet is the only reason Im there and he is retiring I am currently looking for a new vet.

I had to put my cat down and while they say they don't want to pressure you to spend alot of money to see if you can fix him it feels very much like pressuring. Us as animal parents prepared ourselves for this visit and they take that away and then make it harder. Because you almost have to relive the issue. Also heard the vet say " that sucks" when they assistant lady told her I chose to put my cat down. They also give the cat two shots and the lady that came in to do the first shot did it wrong or something? She said " it went right through I'll be back" what does that even mean? Did she take
