Services
There he received his Bachelor's in Dental Sciences from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in 1998. He was later accepted into the New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD) advanced placement program for foreign-trained dentists and graduated with his DDS in 2011. Dr. Matos practiced dentistry in New Jersey from 2011-2014, then relocated to Texas with his wife Lela.
We provide excellent preventive care, including exams, cleanings, and digital x-rays. Early detection of dental problems is essential to gain optimal oral health. The American Dental Association recommends that you follow a schedule of twice-yearly cleanings and exams.

My sister in law(Tacey) convinced me to drive 25 minutes to the dental office she works at to get a second opinion on some dental work I needed and I am so glad I did! Dr. Matos was great! He explained everything thoroughly and gave me options. Erika was a great hygienist and Diane at the front desk was very helpful with scheduling and getting me everything I needed. 10/10 recommendation

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lela. We were nervous about getting back to the dentist due to COVID concerns, but we felt incredibly comfortable there. The office is immaculate and comfortable for both kids and their parents. Every single staff member was pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. My kids were so comfortable with Dr. Lela.… And the COVID safety protocols made us feel safe without making our kids feel alarmed. We also learned new info about our kids’ dental health that we had not heard at our previous dentist. We will definitely be returning.

Dr. Matos and his dental assistant (Krystal) were everything you would hope to have when you visit your dentist. They were gentle, caring, quick, and efficient as they worked on my six veneers fitting. I only had local antiseptic. I can hardly wait to get the real deal in two weeks! I am excited to get into that dental chair again and get the same treatment for the actual veneers! I do not know if I can express enough my gratitude towards them! I sincerely want to recommend Smile Advanced Dental Care to anyone!
