Dr. Lavian commonly treats patients who have underlying headaches, neck, back, hip and Knee pains due to their poor foot alignment. Feet are the foundation of the body, if they are not at functional capacity, misalignment and pain of compensating body parts is inevitable. Come in for a thorough gait analysis and gain a better understanding of not just your foot function, but also how it relates to the rest of your body.
Emil Lavian, DPM is board certified by The American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He received his doctorate in podiatric medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. After graduating with honors in 2008, he completed three years of extensive training at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center.

During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor. We accept most insurances. List of current prescriptions and/or over-the-counter medication, including dose and frequency. You are responsible for co-payments or charges that are not covered by your insurance.

Dr. Lavian is a wonderful podiatrist. His thorough knowledge, willingness to provide preventative measures and physical therapy put me right at ease. I was traumatized, by a podiatrist, when I started having issues with ingrown toenails so I was terrified to have my first appointment with Dr. Lavian. Not only was he gentle and thorough, he was extremely informative and helpful. He not only treated my nail, but gave info on my fallen arches which could ultimately help me with my lower back pain. Such a difference from my first experience.

My experience with Dr Lavian this afternoon was spectacular. I had a pressing issue with a toenail, and he not only fixed it promptly, he gave me multiple ways of going about it and many options for payment. I walked out of his office with relief immediately. Highly recommend this guy as he was not only extremely professional, but kind and personable as well.

Dr. Lavian is an extremely kind, knowledgeable, and thorough doctor. I was experiencing excruciating pain in my foot, and he managed to fit me into his Sunday schedule at very short notice (as a new patient) to treat me. He performed a seamless and pain-free procedure on my toe and I immediately felt so much better! I highly recommend Dr. Lavian if you are in need of a podiatrist!
