Dr. Rasmussen was born in Rochester, NY and raised in Cape Coral, FL. After graduating from Mariner High School, she attended The University of Central Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Micro-Molecular Biology degree. Following this, she received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Florida.

I had my teeth cleaned at Rasmussen Dental. The office is very clean and the reception staff are friendly and cordial. The dental hygienist was very nice and talked through the whole process and everything she was doing. I would highly recommend this dental practice for anyone looking for a quality dentist in the Cape Coral area.

Dr Parsons was great in explaining my treatment plan. Love her energy! Both Cherie & Courtney are amazing dental hygienists. They are considerate and always check in to see how I’m doing as they work. Overall the staff here is friendly and helpful. I won’t be going anywhere else for my dental needs. Thank you!

I’ve been going to Rasmussen Dental for about 3 years now and will never think of going elsewhere. This office is thorough and very personable. Theres just something about walking into an office and everybody remembers you even if it’s been six months. There’s never a wait and they take the time to fully explain everything. Had my first visit today and it was so much better than I expected. I have had so many bad experiences with other offices; up-selling, painful X-rays, painful cleanings. My hygienist was amazing. Explained everything and the bite thing didn’t cut my gums, the cleaning was even fairly comfortable! Dr Parsons was friendly and thoroughly explained my plan of care. Great service and fair price which is important when you are retired and no insurance.

This was my first appointment for work to be done. I had the best experience at a dentist in a long time. Dr. Rasmussen is gentle and she explained what was happening along the way. I like to know when one part is over like the drilling part. Even the numbing part was not painful. Also, I had no pain after the procedure. It is hard to find a good dentist so I am feeling so blessed that I found Dr. Rasmussen!

Rasmussen family Dental is the dentist of SW Florida. I have been going here for several years. The staff is extremely nice and they do a great job. If you need a dentist this is the place to go. The hygienist are very thorough and my teeth always feel so clean when they are done. Dr. Rasmussen & Dr. Parsons are a great team if your looking for a dentist this is the place.

Dr Rasmussen and her whole team are the best!!! I've finally found a dentist I'm pleased with and enjoy going to. They go above and beyond, its great! Ive been going to them for 3 years now and love it.. I even had recent jaw pain from clenching my teeth at night, and they thoroughly checked me to make sure there wasn't an underlying issue somewhere that was causing the pain. Then, since I'm pregnant(again..they're used to it by now ha), they can't prescribe me anything for the pain but made me a mouth guard and advice on how to work the muscle. Then called to follow up on how I was holding up
