Ryan is the owner and an ASE Certified Master Technician. He developed an interest in cars at a very young age, and has over 20 years of professional experience in the automotive industry. Ryan has a passion for all things motorsports, and is often found competing in various SCCA, AER, and ChampCar Series events.
Redi Imports has been providing high quality, affordable mechanical repairs to the greater Rochester area for more than 15 years. Before finding Redi Import, I had some really bad experiences with mechanics, my mom would always tell me “take it to Ryan” but it took me a while to listen; when I finally did , I never looked back; any little issue , “I’m going to Ryan”. It’s been years now and they never disappoint. Rates are Good, Service are excellent and the staff are top tier. I brought my 2019 BMW X3 in for front Brake Service and routine oil change. I decided to bring it to REDi as their rates were more reasonable than the BMW dealership. After picking up the vehicle I noticed an intermittent, high-pitched squeak when using coming to a stop. While it took a few trips back to REDi, they were committed to resolving the issue, which took them replacing first the brake pads and then replacing the rotors with a different manufacturer. Problems happen, I was very pleased with their professionalism and dedication to ensuring I was satisfied. I will definitely return to Redi

The lady behind the front desk was very helpful and awesome.. the service was great!, friendly and very knowledgeable.. price was great didn’t burn both arms and legs 😂 like other mechanic shop or dealership would. When i purchased my first car, I decided to come to this shop because one of my friends were hired as a detailer here, and he spoke positive things about the mechanics that worked here.
My friend no longer works there, he left to work at a shop that specializes in custom detail work. However, I still come here.

Completely UNPROFESSIONAL... during my experience with Ryan, I was insulted and talked to like a child. Long story short I took my car there for a part to be fixed I paid upfront the amount I was quoted for the repair which was guaranteed by Ryan. Unfortunately due to some issue, the part could not be repaired after I already paid in full. I was told I would get a refund, but it unreasonably lower than what I paid. I’ve been taking my BMW and Mini here for service for a few years now. Recently I purchased an older Honda Civic in need of numerous repairs that had been sitting for over a year! Redi Imports diagnosed every problem and had the car ready for state inspection without a problem. I then drove the 01 Honda all the way to south Florida’s without an incident! I was so happy and so was my son when I gave him the car. I highly recommend Redi Imports for any and all types of automotive services! The technician also performed a very thorough 19 point inspection, including a battery test.. if you are looking for an excellent… import or general mechanic this is the place to go, especially if you are extremely meticulous with your vehicle. I've been bringing my GTI to Redi Imports for several years now. At this point, I'm having Ryan (owner) do all the work on my car, no matter what.
It started back a few years ago when Ryan provided me with a second opinion on some problems with my VW. As someone who wasn't that car savvy at the time, Ryan explained everything in a way that made total sense. He will give you an honest and truthful opinion on what needs to be done every time.
It is also very reassuring to see the same faces in the shop each

Took my 2015 Mustang GT to get a Alignment done from the suggestion of a good friend of mine and I was definitely pleasantly surprised by this shop. Took my car in for a brake job, their price was 100 dollars cheaper than my dealer! They even threw in two free coated brakes after I said I couldn't afford to do all 4 coated which is better for the Rochester Winters. Very pleased, I left my car overnight and was promised the car at 5pm the next day but they had everything done by noon! I highly recommend them.

Traveling through Rochester I was stranded with a bad axle bearing in a rare JDM. The shop got me in ASAP, helped me diagnose and find parts quickly. As they were fixing the car I even got a call to approve a fluid flush and refill which wasn't talked about during the appraisal. I was happy to see this is the type of shop that calls before racking up a bill. Would recommend 100%!

I recently had my car detailed (inside and out) by Ryan and his team. They did a fantastic job - it looks brand new! I used to go to Delta Sonic but I'd much rather give my money to a small, local business who… does as a good a job, if not better. I learned about Redi Imports from two friends who are really into cars. They are obsessive, and they love the quality of the work done by Ryan and team. I wish I had them servicing my car from the start.
They did a beautiful job replacing head gaskets in my 2006 Forester when needed, and when it was time for me to upgrade to a new car, Ryan even helped me find a buyer. Now he's taking care of my Toyota Camry, and I know my car is in great hands. Highly recommended.

Redi came highly recommended from a few people I know dedicated to their cars. I took my car in because a part had broken and made my car undriveable. I told them that I had a bit of a time crunch as I was going out of town the next day. They let me know it would be tight, but that they would do everything they could to get it done. I got a call in a few hours, and they had completely finished the work, and done an excellent job! They explained to me clearly what had happened, and what they had done. I've always gotten quick and reliable service. Call ahead to setup a day and time to drop your car off - they'll give you a day when they'll actually be able to get to work on your car, instead of just dropping it off and being left carless for a few days until they can get to it. Very knowledgeable and they always contact you during the repair process to let you know of any changes or other issues.

I recently had some work done at Redi Imports on my BMW (although they work on all makes and models). Ryan (owner) was awesome to deal with. He was totally down to earth and explained everything that was going on with my car in way that was easy to understand.
Their labor rates are less expensive than I've paid anywhere else in town and Ryan point blank told me "I want your business" which, as a consumer, made me feel appreciated. This is something I rarely, if ever, find at auto shops.
