I read a review of Rent A Place Florida that I do not agree with so I decided to speak my mind. Jack and Lisa are the owners and saved my life by helping me find a place to live in this horrible pandemic. Right from the start they were honest and upfront with me about how the rental process worked and the qualifications I needed to rent a one bedroom condo that I loved. There was a non-refundable application fee to cover the costs of processing the application including running a credit and background check. Several months ago I called Rent A Place Florida and spoke to Lisa about her tenant placement services. I had screened my own tenants for years with no problems until recently. I did a credit report and background check and if the tenants looked good I rented to them. My most recent tenants checked out with the credit, but, this time was different. They paid the rent late every month and damaged my house when they moved out. Rent A Place Florida is the best company I have ever worked with. I am a new landlord and needed tenants for my property. Lisa & Jack found me excellent tenants in one week. They even told me what to do to get more rent for my property and what it should rent for. They made suggestions but said it was up to me what I wanted to do. I did not have time to rent my property. They are definitely experienced real estate rental brokers who are very knowledgeable about tenant/landlord laws and screening.

This company owned by a old couple. Once you sign up the contract they become hard to communicate, barely answer your call always went to the voice mail. They will push you to rent your property out by try to convince you to lower the rent more and more, want you to do anything possible to make the house more attractive even want you to paint the garage floor, what?! Zero pets fee, too. All good for for tenants so they can quickly rent it out to get the commission. Not so pleasant with my experience.

Fantastic experience. Highly recommend. Best tenants I ever had. Always find my great tenants who stay for years. No problems with them ever. Worth every penny hiring a rental service to find tenants. I have a full time job and do not have time to show and screen tenants. I had a bad tenant before I hired Rent A Place Florida and never will I take that risk again. Better to hire a real estate rental professional company who knows the landlord tenant laws and how to qualify tenants. thanks
