The Ackerman family continued the tradition with the opening of Glenway Auto Center in 2010 at it's new location on Harrison Ave. The Ackerman Family now has the fifth generation working in the business, with Mark's son Nick involved in the business. The location is a 5965 Centennial Circle in Florence Kentucky.
Glenway is excited about expanding their business with the new location. They have kept all of the previous employees at that location and are adding some new employees for the expected increase in volume. Phil and Mark are sharing time at the new location in order to get things operating the way that Glenway expects it to run.

The very best - and sincere - complement I can give this place is 'I believe them'.
I'm just not a car guy. Never been interested in that world, so my proficiency at maintenance is limited to changing a flat tire. If something goes wrong, I take it here. On more than one occasion the fine folks working here have diagnosed my problem as something super minor and charged a very nominal fee (if anything) to fix it. They don't take advantage of my relative ignorance, which you can't say for a lot of places in this line of work.

My father suggested this place to me, and now I know why. I have an older car with a lot of miles, and I'm always afraid that mechanics will take advantage of that to add unnecessary repairs or services. The folks at Glenway were honest about what was needed immediately and what could wait, and were very prompt with the repairs and concise about cost. They've won me over as a customer for sure, and they've earned all my business in the future.

Stopped by the shop on our way from Chicago to Asheville because our brakes were acting funny. They were about to close, but said they would take a look and ended up adjusting the brakes that night and checking and filling all our fluids. Great work and extremely reasonable price. Everyone was so kind, honest and helpful.

This is the only place that I trust to take my car to for service. I am always greeted with a smile prices are great, and they never recommend a service that is not needed. They do their best to get you in and out quick and the place is always spotless! I will always refer anyone needing service to Glenway Auto Center! Thanks guys for always helping out!

The Glenway Auto Center has been great both times I went. Now I am pretty picky when it comes to vehicle maintenance since it was my first job in the AF. I have a bit of experience overseeing and running a shop and always walk into a garage with a critical eye.
Glenway's shop is clean, well organized and the personnel are both friendly, up front and do a great job. They were willing to work with me on my first visit when I botched a job at home and they have found, fixed and stood behind everything they have done.
