I'm Marika, the artist behind Marika H Photography. I think life is beautiful and too short, so it needs to be lived to its fullest every moment. I enjoy an energetic lifestyle and was born with a 'travel bug'. I love languages and all foods vegetarian. My two biggest weaknesses are that I can never follow through with any attempts to give up coffee or chocolate.

I am so happy we found Marika!!! I searched for a while and she did not disappoint!n We live in Suffolk and my daughter wanted some different shots than just the basic senior portraits. She took her time with everything from start to finish, was professional and really cared! The images turned out ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and it was so hard to choose form all the different ones. I will be using Marika for all of our professional portrait needs going forward!!!!!!!!!

We had the best experience working with Marika H. Photography for my daughter’s senior photo portraits. Marika really prepares for a photo shoot by getting to know her clients. She helped my daughter select wardrobe pieces that made her feel comfortable and beautiful. Based on my daughter’s preference for backdrops, Marika scouted out a variety of locations in Williamsburg.
