I only came to this place bc my nail salon in lantana was closed. The place was very dirty. The chairs were ripped and had holes in them. Someone came in while I was getting my nails done and they were so rude to her when she asked about prices and services. My nails turned yellow from their polish. There was dust and nail clippings everywhere.
It's cheap bc the service is cheap. Just go somewhere else.

I wanted acrylic and she basically refused said the dip nails are better. I've been getting my nails done for many years, I know what I want, went here because it was closer to home and I couldn't get into my other salon. Even though I wanted acrylic she did the dip nails anyway! The shape is awful they look like my 7 year old shaped them, they are lumpy and she was so aggressive she filed 3 cuts in 3 of my fingers and burned my cuticle with the drill. My finger was bleeding and she just kept going, I had to say stop 3 times, had to ask for a papertowel to stop the bleeding, who just keeps sawing

I’ve had a few pedicures here and it was ok, nothing special. Everyone is quiet. Today I went in and asked if I could get a pedicure. I was told yes and to pick out a color, as soon as someone was done. 4 technicians giving pedicures and one a manicure. I was the only one waiting. Now all the pedicure customers are getting manicures. Not one person has said a word to me. Two people walk in who must of had appointments. Still no one has said a word to me. I got up after 45 minutes put my polish back and headed for the door. Still no one said a word to me. I could have made an appointment and come

WARNING ! DON’T GO HERE ! I wish I was able to give this review a zero. I had a gel pedicure done by Helen which lasted only 13 minutes and did not include a massage, but it did include cold water. I then proceeded to get a gel manicure by Helen which was French. Her work was sloppy and not neat I had white nail polish all over my hands. When I asked for someone else to redo my polish or just have it removed she proceeded to be aggressive with my hands and almost cut me multiple times with the machine ! This is my first time at the salon I came in at 3:19 I remember the time because I texted my husband saying I am at the salon. I am here with my 2 year old son. she told me it was going to be 15 minutes and I've been waiting for an hour and 20 minutes now I told her I was leaving and he didn't even care to take me or anything will not recommend salon to anyone and I will never come back to the salon

This place by far is the worst nail place I have ever been to! I went in for the first time since it was close to my house. I figured I’d give it a try. I asked for gel polish on my toes. No pedicure. The lady starts to clean off my toes and then puts my feet in the water. I thought oh wow. Just for gel polish they are really going above and beyond. Came here for my first time as a reference from a friend. The store was exceptionally clean and organized, I was very impressed at how many pedicure chairs they had as well. Had a bad experience at this place about 4 years ago, but figured I'd given them another shot. Called for an appointment early this morning -- the person on the phone asked if I could 'come now" ... which I couldn't. I asked for an appointment later in the afternoon and the person on the phone said 6:00 I questioned that ... and asked her twice to verify that I would have an appointment on Sunday at 6:00 PM. She confirmed TWICE.
It being Sunday, I thought I'd get there a little early .. arrived at 5:45 PM on Sunday -- was told 'oh no .. we close at 6." I told her that I'd called for an appointment

I went in with my daughter because it was the closest place to my house and we both got our nails done she had gel and I had nexgen my nails were very bulky and crooked grooves everywhere the more I asked the tech to fix the worse it for but since it was late I paid and left now 4 days later 2 nails already came off so I went back to get them re done and they were worse the second time, my daughters nails started coming off 5 days later. If you think of coming in just don't.

UPDATE - I spoke with management and they redid the services and took care or me! I have no issues with the salon itself! I will always choose Kim or annie!

I went this morning for a relaxing manicure and pedicure to destress and all 3 of the ladies that were working did nothing but yell and scream at each other and fight over some issue with a customer. From what I gathered one of them tried to take a customer from the other or something like that. They did nothing but argue about it for the hour I was there. So much for a nice relaxing morning!!! Never again

Yesterday I came in at 5:45, 15 mins prior to them closing on a weekend. I came in said I need one nail repaired with Nexgen. When I walked in the employees looked stunned. There was a gentleman working there that was simply folding up aluminum foil while two other women were waiting to get there nails done. The rest of the 4 technicians were busy with clients. Horrible. I went there one time and it was great, but today I had Helen and she did a horrible job. Very nice lady but she does not belong in a nail salon. She painted the nails like she has never done it before, even the way she held the brush was bad. I had to tell her to fill in some blanks on the side and my cuticles are horrible as well. I don't know if I will ever be back here, probably not

They were late opening up. First person to arrive was scheduled to do gel full set on two other woman. Took over 20 minutes for a tech that does pedicures to appear. I tell her to work on my mom first since I was already thinking of cancelling. Every few minutes she is asking about up charges for deluxe pedicure, adding designs, waxing, etc. She hadn't even started scrubbing my mom's feet!

My experience at Lysa's nails is always a great one! My nail tech, Karen is a true pleasure. I normally get a pedicure and she does a phenomenal job. I find her to be charismatic, hospitable, and she is very professional. If you're looking to have a positive experience; I highly recommend Karen at Lysa's Nails!

Not sure why the previous bad reviews. They all seemed old and I'm figuring their regular customers aren't Yelp users as the other people I talked to in the shop were happy with their experience.
I thought Lysa's was great. And I'm picky.
The salon was clean and nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and presented themselves well.
My tech, Karen, was attentive, concerned about my particular needs and did an awesome manicure and pedicure. I will definitely go back.
