Cold Laser Therapy or Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to interact with tissue to help accelerate the healing process. It can be used on patients who suffer from a variety of conditions in order to help eliminate pain, swelling, reduce spasms and increase functionality.
DOC Decompression is currently the most sophisticated, three-dimensional non-surgical spinal decompression system to treat chronic neck and back pain in the country. DOC Decompression works by gently lengthening and decompressing the cervical or lumbar spine. Movements created by the system cause negative pressure within the spinal disc.
Rapid Release Technology is an FDA Class 1 Medical device that utilizes high frequency vibration therapy to help alleviate muscular tension, trigger points, scar tissue and pain for a wide variety of conditions. The Rapid Release uses resonant frequencies of 10,000 RPM, specifically designed to target adhesion type tissue.
Dry needling stimulates neurological sensors ie. Substance P, Bradykinin, Calcitonin in the body which modulate pain signals. I normally don't do public posts via Google, but I felt so compelled. I am beyond thrilled that I found Dr. Mizzer. I was so beyond thrilled with his bedside manner and the amount of time and thoughtfulness he showed from the evaluation to the treatment. You will not feel rushed and you WILL feel better. My first appointment was more maintenance but my second appointment was when I was in severe pain (the first time in several months). I felt 180 degrees better post-session. Highly recommend!

Wellness Joint offers evening appointments twice weekly as well as morning appointments on Saturday which is convenuent for those with a conventional 9a.m. to 5p.m. work schedule. Dr. Mizzer has been very responsive to both phone and email inquiries. I appreciated his pillow type and standing desk vendor recommendations.
