Yoder started the company with five employees and a portable sawmill.

Our two large, modern sawmills and kilns produce a huge volume of hardwood products for customers all over the world. Yoder Lumber's Hardwood Components division is an experienced manufacturer of both volume quantities of hardwood stair parts and custom-made stair components. We produce durable stair treads in a wide range of sizes and hardwood species, turning blanks, box newel posts, fingerjointed and solid handrail blanks, and made-to-order stair components for custom stair projects.
