We've been delivering quality chiropractic care to the Columbia and Boone County area for over 20 years. We recently went back into private practice in Columbia after having been in a large group practice for five years. We have also opened a new practice in north Boone County in the town of Sturgeon, near our home, and where our children attend school.

Why didn't you choose to be a "real doctor?" All I can say is, bless my parents for their beliefs and for introducing me to chiropractic at a young age. I suffered a severe neck injury as a sophomore in high school playing football, but being "young and indestructible, " I didn't recognize it right away.
We use a number of highly-effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference. The approach we use is based on our clinical judgment and years of experience. After identifying which vertebrae have lost their normal motion or position, a specific manual thrust is applied to free up "stuck" spinal joints.
Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it's important that our relationship goes the distance. We've found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. Searching out and finding the "root source" of your complaint or pain is the focus of your first appointment.

Dr. Adams has done a lot for my family. I have been a patient of his for a decade, longer than he has been at this location. I have slight scoliosis and get severe back pain at times. I come back every month (if not more often) for a "tune up" and am good to go! He even saw me through my pregnancy. Front desk staff is kind and friendly!
