Advanced Physical Health is a family practice including husband and wife team, Dr. Sylvie Carpetier and Dr. Matthew White, as well as their daughter, Dr. Monique White. Together, our doctors have over 70 years of experience. They work in concert with other healthcare disciplines in order to best understand your health issues quickly and apply the right treatment to get you back to your optimal health.
We practice a hands-on, holistic approach to healthcare. Patients normally present to the office with a variety of health issues and pain syndromes. We are dedicated to getting you well, and keeping you well. Chiropractic Care: The goal of the chiropractic adjustment is to restore the vertebral bone that is misaligned and causing nerve interference to its natural position and proper movement capabilities.
Dr. Monique is a second generation, board certified Chiropractic Physician practicing in Columbia, MO. She graduated from Logan University, College of Chiropractic as Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Monique attained advanced training and concurrently graduated with her Masters in Sports Science and Rehabilitation and is an Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner.
Kelli is an experience Massage Therapist trained in multiple modalities and provides all clients with personalized, sensitively delivered massage and balancing experiences. She graduated from Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage Therapy (Austin, TX) in 1997 and has 21 years of experience. Kelli joined our team in 2018.
Mission Statement: Our mission is to help all our patients pursue and achieve optimal health and well-being through natural healing, without the use of medication and surgeries. What to Expect: Our initial visit includes a history and consultation, focused examination of your spine and/or extremities, any necessary imaging, and a report of findings.

After sitting at a desk for two years, I had a lot of stiffness and pain in my upper back and neck. I’ve also dealt with minor scoliosis since I was a kid. I started seeing Dr. Monique White a little over six months ago and she started to help me regain my movement almost immediately! She is always so kind when I come in and her support staff is amazing. I go weekly now and I always look forward to it!

I've been going to Dr. Monique for over a year now. Working at a desk for 18 years, plus acquiring a 75-lb active dog, finally caught up with me and led to lower back and hip pain that made it difficult for me to sleep at night. Dr. Monique quickly diagnosed the problem and applied a variety of techniques to address the issue. Continued maintenance has led to overall better health and mobility, and she continues vigilant care if any new issues arise, such as neck stiffness. I am very happy with the results.

The entire staff at Advanced Physical Health is amazing! Dr. Monique will get you up and going in no time. For an adjustment I pay only $36 and try to go every 3 months just to stay aligned. Her adjustments are so gentle you will feel like you've been to the spa! She is a humble Dr. that really listens without judging and is extremely smart and resourceful, after all, she was VALEDICTORIAN of her Logan Chiropractic class! So do yourself a favor, get off the pain killers and go see Dr. Monique, she will take good care of you.

Advanced Physical Health has truly made a difference in my life. Before going, I wasn't sure about chiropractic care however being pregnant with my first I decided to give it a try to see if it could help. Thank goodness I started going because they have made all the difference throughout this pregnancy. I am able to consistently work out at almost 40 weeks pregnant and Dr. Monique is amazing with ensuring I feel better after each visit while being cautious. As I am nearing my due date, I firmly believe that my labor and delivery will be much better because of them and I don't plan to stop after

I love this office. I called to get appointment for acupuncture before Embryo transfer. They are knowledgeable and friendly. I was super nervous because it was my first time. They put me at ease. Didn’t hurt at all.Have never felt so relaxed. I would recommend and have to anyone who will listen. By the way have a six month old. They were a great help in my Ivf journey!

I suffer from an autoimmune disorder and Dr. Monique has changed my life. She is extremely knowledgeable and makes sure you understand your plan of care. She is the sweetest, most caring doctor I’ve met. She genuinely cares about her patients. My son recently started seeing her as well. We had been through his pediatrician, specialists and even ER visits for issues and she is the one who finally diagnosed him with his scoliosis which was causing the other problems. I really can’t recommend her enough! I can always get in the same day if I need an extra visit and the hours are conducive to work

I love going to Advanced Physical Health! The staff is both welcoming and caring. They always greet me by name when I walk in the door. Dr. Monique is amazing! I started seeing her for lower back pain about two years ago and she had it completely gone in just a couple months. I just had my first baby and she took amazing care of me my entire pregnancy. I barley had any back pain and she even helped with an umbilical hernia I had. She is so sweet, professional, thoughtful, and gentle with her practice. She even got me a gift for the baby! All the assistants and receptionists at the practice are also great, always pleasant and professional! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Monique and this practice!

I see Monique frequently and she is always considerate of what is going on in my body and how to further help myself outside of her office. This chiropractic center is also very reasonable with pricing. The best part is that you’re not just getting popped, but also other therapy options such as TENS machine, ice, rolling beds, etc. I would recommend Advanced Physical Health to all of my friends, family members, co-workers (at the hospital) and more.
