Started using them through Quickbooks for employee benefits. They did go out and find plans that fit our needs. However, I ended up being the third party administrator with employees to get them to enroll or not enroll as the process was not intuitive for employees. Things were good until next enrollment when all of a sudden employees were not being deducted for their portion. Got all employees fixed but one. Trying to reach customer service is almost impossible. As I type this, I have been on hold for 30 minutes waiting for someone and message says to use live chat for quicker response but online

Got an email letting me know someone would reach out and help correct the situation. Turns out their follow through is just as bad. Would not recommend!
SimplyInsured seemed easy to set up through my Square account however the process to cancel has not been easy. On my end I clicked a few buttons and deactivated the employees (both showing they were removed) I continue to get billed and my square account keeps trying to allocate funds towards health care although no one has it.

Beware using SimplyInsured! As a Quickbooks user for over Five years, we decided to use Simply insured when they partnered with Quickbooks. I liked the integration that made it very easy to manage as I don't have a lot of extra time. But wait, that is a far as it got. We started our coverage through SimplyInsured with Cigna in Feb, and all was working well, at least we thought. Fast forward to Nov, when one of our employees needed to use his medical coverage, that he had been paying for only to find out that our medical coverage was cancelled in April. I’ve only had amazing customer service experiences with SimplyInsured! They truly do go above and beyond and do so with positive, helpful attitudes. On one encounter, an agent conferenced me in with the insurance provider to advocate for a request I was making. Another good example is when I didn’t get to speak to an agent initially and within a few hours, someone was reaching out to me personally to see what they could help me with. The agent completed my request and kept me updated throughout, until the request was 100% resolved. Wonderful job!

This company should be called torturedly insured - they switched the policy I wanted for a down graded option and I only found out when I went to the dr.
They have yet to correct after a month of do nothing customer service people.
It's not my thing to diss a company publicly- but I am writing this to save you from this train wreck of a company- stay away.

Worst business I have ever dealt with bar none. We got the bait and switch when trying to find a plan and they kept moving us to more expensive plans. After 3 months of back and forth we though things were squared away. No luck. They screwed up billing and billed us for a month prior to the time we even chose a plan. After a year of a horrible plan that covered nothing it said it would I cancelled the plan. Received the cancellation paperwork for the insurer. Though the saga was over. No such luck. We have been trying to make it work with SimplyInsured. This is by far the worst broker I've ever used. They screwed up my onboarding insurance when I started. I cut my finger and they told me I wasn't covered even though I was. I paid over $2000 out of pocket from ER bills. Now, they were supposed to update our dental plan in Dec 2018 but screwed up on the filing and we still don't have our dental plan today, Feb 2019. Our employees are paying $150 out of pocket for cleaning and x-rays. How are you still in business????? Stay away from the shambles of a company.

I certainly wish I had looked at these reviews before making the horrendous decision to apply for small-business health insurance through this joke of a company. I have never experienced worse customer service from any company that I have ever dealt with in my five decades on this planet. Their system is set up so that nobody has to take any responsibility for anything. Their employees not only don't have extensions at which you can reach them or leave them a voicemail -- they don't even have individual email addresses! Literally the only way you can get in touch with the person presumably

These people are liars! They said that they cancelled my insurance, but they did not. I had to call Blue Cross Blue Shield directly to get the policy cancelled. Hopefully after sending Blue Cross Blue Shield an email with the email string with my original cancellation request sent to Simply Insured will result in the cancellation and the refund of the money they drafted from my business account!

Wow! This bunch is the most unprofessional, dimwitted "insurance provider" I've come across yet. They don't know the products they are selling. They don't know how to administer them. They told us to send a money order (like it's 1960) to our previous employer only to find out WEEKS later that oops! that wasn't' who we were supposed to pay!
