Now that I no longer work here, I can write an honest review and not worry about them messing with my hours anymore. It's sad when every single employee past and current has nothing good to say about a company when you ask if they like their job. Scheduler is extremely unprofessional and likes to talk to employees like they're children and she texts in all caps. I've saved the screenshots from the conversations. Calling afterhours for help is pointless when the agency is calling you the next day saying "you didn't show up until 8:45, you never called you can't just pop up at facilities" even when

Ocal is a great place to work! Family owned and they do care! A young nurse or stna ,wow what freedom! Make your own schedule, even go to different states if needed. I have read some of the not so great reviews here, but I can say maybe those people were called out on bad work ethics, I don't know? But my experience is if you are doing your job and communicate, this is a wonderful company and a great opportunity for growth and freedom of schedule.

Working with OCAL has given me the liberating freedom to be able to schedule my job around my life instead of scheduling my life around my job! This is a company that truly cares for their employees. When i was having car problems my scheduler helped work out a schedule and find a facility close to my home. If you don’t feel safe or feel like you’re being disrespected at a facility they will take you out of a facility without a second thought. I will always recommend this agency to someone who’s new to travel nursing.

Probably the worst agency I’ve ever worked for. Theyre stingy with hours. Jamie the scheduler is very rude and needs a couple classes on customer service. Communication is horrendous. Every time I bump into a fellow employee it’s nothing but bad things mentioned. They don’t tell you about pick up bonuses etc unless a facility tells you about it. Been with them a little over 6 months. Used to be very friendly here not anymore. RUN.

I would like to start off by saying that I love Ocal Solutions. This job has completely given me a different outlook on working. When you truly enjoy what you're doing, work doesn't feel like work..and this is how I feel about my job here. Going agency was the best decision I've ever made and working for a family owned business makes for a very close connection to my boss and coworkers. We are a family here at OCal. The office workers go above and beyond to help with the constantly expanding staff, and the LPNs and STNAs work so hard and are often recognized and rewarded for the work we complete
