We LOVED working with Norah from Toast & Jam for our April 2021 wedding!! Her coordination and planning made our ceremony perfect. Music choices flowed perfectly between our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Plus she had everyone dancing all night on the dance floor with the music! We would choose Toast & Jam again in a heartbeat!

I cannot begin to find the words to explain how amazing Norah is. She was so incredibly easy and fun to communicate with when planning our wedding! My husband is NOT a dancer, but he spent the entire night on the dance floor along with a lot of wedding guests I never expected to see dancing. Norah made sure the night went so smoothly and played everything I wanted to hear. I have the most fond memories thinking about having an absolute blast on the entire dance floor all night. So many of my guests could not stop talking about how great the music was, and I have already given several referrals

Beyond thrilled with Toast & Jam and our DJ, Kate. My husband and I have somewhat eclectic taste so I was anxious about balancing music we love with music our guests (multi-generational and multi-cultural) would dance to. Jenna was our DJ for our rescheduled reception. She was amazing!! She kept the night flowing and played awesome music. Before the reception, she met with us, listened and curated the perfect playlist. She was not at all a "cheesy dj." She was absolutely perfect. I'd recommend Toast and Jam (specifically, Jenna) to anyone looking for a phenomenal DJ.

We went with Toast and Jam at a friend's recommendation and we had a great experience at our wedding! The songs Mike ended up playing were right on point with our musical tastes and the dance floor was active all night - even with only 75 people! They were also very accommodating for the date changes, etc. due to the pandemic - we would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ!

So glad we booked our wedding DJ through Toast & Jam! Entertainment was the most important part (and highest priority) of our wedding planning. When we contacted T&J they were very responsive and hooked us up with one of their DJs (Rachel) who set up a virtual meet with us so we could start hashing out our vision. Rachel was AWESOME! We worked with Norah of Toast & Jam. From the start, Norah was friendly and professional. She was able to not only create an excellent vibe every step of the night, she also kept us on track with announcements, speeches, and so on. Its easy to get distracted on your wedding night, having someone like Norah is a must!! We got a ton of compliments on our DJ and T&J is a super cool company, I'd honestly recommend them to anyone.

We both had a fantastic time at our reception. Alli scheduled virtual talks with us to make sure that there was no misunderstanding on what songs we really wanted, what announcements she needed to make, and how the evening was supposed to progress. During our time at the Arboretum, Alli had to transition from one room to another and made sure that she let us know the schedule and where we were in terms of time and expectations of the rest of the night. She was also aware of our photographer leaving about half an hour into dancing, making sure that we knew to speed things up a little bit to get

I cannot recommend Toast & Jam and DJ Norah enough! From the initial meeting to two postponements later (thanks, covid), DJ Norah was fun, empathetic, and just totally excellent to work with. Toast & Jam covered both our ceremony and reception, encompassing a huge range of musical tastes between two partners and kept the party grooving. Love, love, love! Toast and Jam was recommended through a few close friends who used them as well for their weddings. We could not of been any more impressed with Toast and Jam and our DJ Nora! Our D.J., Dustin Drase, was fantastic. He seamlessly wove our own preferences and requests throughout our wedding to elevate the room and capture the moment--no small feat given the many cross-currents of tastes and cultures he had to navigate.

On a personal level, music has played such a big part of my entire life, which made it all the more meaningful to have our wedding marked by such great music and in such a great way. I'd add a sixth star if I could!

We booked Toast and Jam after hearing positive reviews from many Chicago area friends and it was a great choice. Our DJ Karissa was easy to work with but more importantly was an amazing emcee and DJ and our most complimented vendor by our guests. Karissa was helpful in our planning through a few pre-event video calls and emails and when it came to the dance floor kept it alive with a perfect mix of music. Could not have picked a better DJ - would recommend requesting Karissa for your future events.

Jenna was fantastic! She was easy to work with and offered great suggestions during our planning process. We had some specific requests and all were delivered without a hitch!
The dance floor was never empty and, even though our reception went to midnight, people did not want leave or stop dancing! "One more song" was the endless chant of the night. If you're lucky enough to book DJ Dustin for your event, it's going to be an incredible time! We booked DJ Dustin, through Toast & Jam, for our Wedding and he provided incredible service the whole way through.
We met with him a few times prior to the big day to first get to know one another and then as the day got closer to start ironing out final details. All our friends who had been to parties DJ'd by Toast and Jam had told us how epic they had been, so we knew our wedding was in good hands. Tabitha took it to the next level, enough so that our reception ended in a "Tabitha!" chant. The set list made it so evident that she really listened to us in our conversations and made our wedding feel so special and, most importantly, so "us". Unfortunately we did not have a great experience with Toast & Jam. We interviewed with Dave over the phone. At the time of interview he was an hour late to chat with us- didn't send an email or text to let us know. During the interview he didn't seem super interested in our event, but we chalked it up to him having to rush for the interview. We filled out the questionnaire and were very straightforward with likes and dislikes.

Background: I helped my best friend plan her wedding pre-covid and Toast and Jam would not refund her $800+ deposit when we had to cancel due to the pandemic lockdown. She even worked with them to reschedule to try to avoid losing the money but they would only play a venue of 50 people and her wedding was 100. We had initially booked with one DJ (Sean) but after two changes to our wedding dates, Sean was no longer available Toast & Jam helped to set us up with another DJ, Marjorie. I was referred to Toast and Jam by my wedding planner at Olive Fine Weddings and Events. It was very last minute hiring a DJ as the restrictions for COVID had finally loosened. With only 7 weeks to plan a wedding, we were referred to Toast & Jam by a friend in the wedding planning business and we were SO LUCKY that Rachel was available to DJ our wedding. My daughters wedding is just last night and Dustin was the DJ. Oh well, it was very disappointing to say the least. First of all, I planned a Father's speech for almost a year and that included a dance skit at the end of the speech. I was proceeding with the dance with my wife and all of a sudden he just stopped the song at the middle. We were left hanging and embarrassed at the dance floor. What is there to say about Toast and Jam besides... Norah was the greatest DJ I have ever experienced at a wedding. I may be biased since it was MY wedding but many of our guests told us while dancing and after that this was one of the best DJs they had seen.
Toast & Jam is super organized and has great communication. After our initial contact, we were matched with Norah. She was our point of contact from the beginning and it felt like we really got to know her, and she got to know us!
