Also, the thought of being a first-time mom and leaving the house days after having a newborn was terrifying. I found Katie online and loved all her pictures; she has an incredible portfolio. Katie is simply the BEST photographer. We’ve used her for over 6 years and couldn’t imagine having someone else take our family photos. She is amazing to work with and is so very talented. Katie knows how to make you feel comfortable which is key to great portraits. I highly recommend her to anyone whether you’re looking for newborn photos or family. I promise, you will not be disappointed.

This is our second time working with Katie and she is just SO wonderful. We had to do our newborn pictures later than we had wanted because of a long hospital stay, but Katie was able to soothe and get our little guy to sleep, which felt like the most impossible task! She is a real life baby whisperer! As soon as she held him, I just felt so relieved and wished I could have brought her home with me :) We couldn’t love her and the pictures she takes more! They are so incredibly beautiful and capture this special time that goes by so quickly. Oh and the best advice I could give— get the album

I could not be happier with the photos from Katie! With our first born daughter, I knew I wanted proper photos of her in the early days since I knew the time would go by so quickly. We met Katie during our complementary maternity photo shoot and I was immediately so comfortable in her presence. During the last few weeks of pregnancy, it is so important to be comfortable with the person taking those pictures! Our daughter came much earlier than we expected but Katie worked to get us in within the week. The newborn photo shoot went so incredibly smooth I couldn’t believe it! Our pictures turned

This is my second experience having Katie photograph my children- she took my son’s newborn photos 2 years ago- they came out amazing! This time she took my daughter’s newborn photos- once again pure magic! Katie thinks of everything when it comes to getting newborn photos taken. From snacks and toys for your toddler, bows and accessory for baby, and a relaxing place for the parents. She has everything covered and provides you with so much more than just taking photographs. My family has done a couple sessions with Katie for both of our newborns, and Katie is awesome and we adore her work. She is so good with kids, and knows how to catch their attention for the needed magic moments. She really works with you and gets to know you , in order to tell a story with each picture.
