It's simple and short but that's it! Making your day better is our top priority. We do this using therapeutic techniques, a supportive and positive treatment environment, and a strong focus on education.
While other therapists often find it difficult to establish a balance between time to treat, educate, instruct in exercise, teach self-help tools and answer the patient's questions, we are passionate about and fully committed to the belief that patient education is the most crucial part of the treatment process. We've developed an understanding of what it is in our approach to which people respond.

I believe that one critical component to achieving optimal treatment outcomes is to provide a treatment environment that promotes healing. The atmosphere in our clinic is designed to do just that - it feels more like home, and smiles are contagious. Dennis has a broad base of experience which he brings to this office.
The first seven bones in the human spine are collectively called the cervical spine Cervical Spine. Durable, flexible, yet vulnerable to disease and damage, the vertebrae allow us to twist our necks and heads. Humans depend on the neck remaining in good condition. When a strong force injures your neck, or if you develop inflammation or degeneration, you will experience pain and perhaps disability.
Whether you have surgery scheduled for your shoulder, back, hips, or knees, getting your muscles and tendons stronger beforehand is a wise move. PreHab is just like rehab only before your surgery rather than after. A good set of muscles, better blood circulation, and great core muscles will help make your recovery faster and easier.
Pain is one of the greatest health problems we experience in our everyday life. According to research and estimations, pain is the major health issues one third of the world population are facing. The more we get older the more we are likely to experience pains, and women are more likely to experience pains than men.
The spine is one of your most important body parts. Without a well-functioning set of vertebrae, you couldn't do much of anything, and the rest of your body might quit their jobs as well. Your spine needs to be in good structural condition. Every bone needs to stay undamaged; every piece of cartilage should remain smooth, each muscle and tendon relaxed and functional.

I had a great experience at Atrium. I had a difficult knee replacement with lots of pain, swelling, and lack of sleep. Each time I went to PT, I was treated according to the knee situation presenting that day. I was offered various modalities and it really helped. Felicity and Tara were professional and really cared about my progress. I was given personal attention and I really believe they helped me get where I needed to be in order to have more normal function.

The environment at Atrium is so conducive to healing. All the staff is friendly and they treat patients with understanding and respect. I personally saw Felicia Chaves PT, DPT after my surgery, and I have to say that she is so incredibly knowledgeable and I felt I was given very helpful strategies to work on during my therapy that I can continue to apply to my future healing. I would (and have) recommend Atrium Physical Therapy to anyone in need of physical therapy.

The staff at Atrium is amazing from when you walk in to all of them in the back. I went in a little over a year ago with a sprained ankle and the ladies helped me so much. I ended up having reconstructive surgery on my ankle and they never gave up on me. Even when I joked about chopping my foot off and putting on a rabbit foot. They encouraged me all the way. Thanks to Felicity and Terra I have gotten this far. They always treated me like family and this I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
