The Cabernet Grande Suite is an expansive room located on the northeast side of the main floor. This suite has a magnificent black and gold king sized bed with luxurious linens. A luxurious gas fireplace has a sitting area in front of it, perfect for relaxing with a good book or sipping a glass of wine.
Conveniently located on the main floor of the Villa, this room is named for the white grape grown in our own vineyard. Three expansive windows, framed with floor length, ultra-suede drapes offer a serene view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, picturesque farm lands, our lower vineyard, and winery. Decorated with soothing colors, the room's deluxe furnishing include a king sized bed with Tempur-Pedic mattress and sumptuous linens.

We love stopping by this winery when in town. The building has a cozy mountain lodge feel, complete with chandeliers, sofas, and local art. There’s plenty if space outside for kids to play by the lake or a group to relax by the fire pit. Try their petite syrah if it’s in stock. Shout out to Emily for the fantastic service!

FYI - This review is solely for the winery. The location is beautiful. We loved the outdoor area & the rustic feel of the indoor tasting room. Our bartender was very friendly, as was the host who greeted.
We absolutely did not care for the wine. We each had a flight & of the 8 total wines tasted, only 1 was deemed “likable”. Pretty disappointed & unfortunately would not come back or recommend the wines… can definitely say the location itself was great, as was the live music playing while we were there.

This winery near Banner Elk has wonderful grounds that are so nice to walk around on and enjoy some drinks on a nice day. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed with many of the wines. The reds they have for the most part are good, but I found most of the whites to be quite unenjoyable to drink. Most of the whites are best in the sangria blends they serve during the summer. Nice place to visit for sure, though I wouldn't set your hopes too high for the "award-winning" wines they offer.

This spot is a beautiful place to spend the day. Our kids played in the creek while we shared a wine flight and a glass of our favorite wine. There is plenty of space to spread out and they had live music when we were there. This is a great setting for adults to relax while the kids enjoy themselves outside. There are several pavilions over tables that provide shade on a sunny day. It was a pleasure sampling these locally made wines. Thanks for your hospitality and a beautiful afternoon!

Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. Nice place, live music, outdoor seating was great. But wine didn't have much flavor, the flight did not include a souvenir glass and everything was served in plastic ware. Other wineries I visited included a souvenir glass with their flights and served flights in small wine glasses.
