I have been going with co-workers to this diner for lunch for over 7 years now. This is a great Diner and exactly the type of food you would expect for such an establishment- burgers, sandwiches, platters, lunch specials, etc. Someone in another review said the portions.
The service was good, food was all right, prices were fair, and overall relatively clean. I can't say it was a destination, but it's a safe bet for breakfast when you're hungry and pressed for time and money.

I have come to this restaurant on multiple occasions, for Sunday breakfast and after parties, and all I can say is that I am absolutely disgusted by my last experience. My friends and I came here one afternoon a couple of weeks ago and had a terrible experience. My friends and I ordered fries and gravy along with other food, which even though is a normal teen late night diner snack was absolutely disgusting. There were insects in our gravy and hair in our fries. When I told our waiter, he was so understanding and took them right away from us, gave us new gravy and fries, and took everything right

Went here with family on. Saturday morning before noon. The place was surprisingly packed considering the early hour, got seated about fifteen minutes after we arrived.
Masking is enforced at the door which is clearly labeled with the signage. The place was packed with lots of families along with a constant stream of take out orders from the kitchen.
The food was a little on the pricier side for diner fare but all the dishes were well-cooked and tasted fresh. I had an order of avocado toast with smoked salmon which really hit the spot. I would go again, but would probably arrive even earlier

Bld is one of the best diners. The service is not the best I have ever had but the combination of good food and fast service is always great. I love the pancakes and their omelette. I usually get the western omelette without ham. It tastes just as good as any diner but BLD feels special. Check this out if you are close by it’s a great diner and has a nice vibe

Excellent diner! My go-to place to eat when I want delicious food & fresh squeeze lemonade...I do miss their fresh squeeze orange juice. The food is consistently spot on. Not like a typical diner. A step or 2 above for sure. Best of all, they have an incredibly warm & inviting staff. One of the nicest staff around.

Was craving a solid meal late one night and looked up the best diner we could find. BLD delivered with a delicious meal. I ordered the short rib eggs benedict (a fairly inventive take on a staple brunch item). The egg was slightly runny and the short rib was tender and flavorful; a perfect balance with the crispy muffin the proteins rested on.
We also ordered a beef souvlaki which was solid. The slaw was uninspiring.
The service was prompt and direct. Good diner and perfect late night haunt.

Stopped in with my son after working a very long day. The parking area was spacious. The diner was small, immaculate, and well lit with natural light. Our server was prompt, friendly and attentive. We never had to ask for more water or coffee, he just brought it.
I am 65 years old and have eaten in many diners, enjoying few of them. This, however, was absolutely the freshest, most delicious food I have ever eaten in a diner.
I couldn’t stop eating. And I am not a big eater.
We loved it.

We loved this diner!! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast here and some of the best breakfast potatoes I've had in way too long! Service was very friendly and the diner clean and welcoming. We're here for only a short time-frame but when we come back, this is a great place for us to enjoy breakfast. They're also open 24 hours so lunch and dinner is also available. 😋

Terrible! The service was the worst! My wife and two friends stopped by for a late meal after 11:00. The place had maybe 1-2 other tables full. After getting drinks (which took about ten minutes) we were totally ignored. We tried to get the waiters attention. He would look at us and keep going. The kitchen was stockpiling take out orders on the counter but not one order to any dine in customers. I can't comment on food quality because we received none. After one full hour of inattention, we got up and left. They hardly noticed.

I asked for my bacon to not be crispy and it's burnt to a crisp inedible I spent an extra $5 and drove 20 minutes for nothing but to waste my money horrible Will never return oh yeah and there was a random French fry with my French toast not sure how it got there my boyfriend ordered waffle fries but this was a regular fry ..

My best friend and I decided to come to this diner as we were starving one evening and were in the mood for breakfast food. We decided to venture out of the Bronx to this diner in Larchmont. This was my first time visiting this diner and will also be my last. Once we arrived, we were seated immediately and after about 10 minutes, we were able to order our food. We received our appetizers first before our drinks which was weird for a restaurant. Our drinks came about 5 minutes after the appetizers. The appetizers weren't bad. Came here during the pandemic and dined in when it was able to open up. Food is consistent and delicious. There's ample parking in the back and the wait times are reasonable. They take your number and you wait in your car about 10 minutes for them to call you in.
Service is fast and all the servers are attentive and help one another. Our server had his hands full so another server from another section helped him out and took our orders. Great teamwork to help out customers!

Me and my family absolutely love this diner ! We travel from the north shore of Long Island to eat here occasionally .
Amazing breakfast ,that's our fave or brunch , never enjoyed a lunch or dinner here unfortunately .
Always a pleasant experience,great service and delicious food , it's great now they also have outdoor seating which we took advantage of the last two times we were there since we had our little puppy with us too .
If you have a sweet tooth and are on a "free day"
Go for the stuffed French toast ! You won't regret it ,it's incredible.

My husband and I were at a car dealership when the workers all recommended us to eat here. Two workers suggested that we get the lemonade which we did and it was fantastic. Despite it being 8:30 AM the lemonade was easy to drink. It wasn't too sweet like it was made by 100% sugar. It had a good balance of lemon, sweet, and sour.
We ordered the corned beef hash and chicken & waffles. The corned beef hash here was so good. We've gone to places where the corned beef is tasteless but it was delicious here. The chicken and waffle was good. Nothing special but everything was made well

Flew in late at night and found this diner via yelp on my way to CT. The diner was a pleasant surprise in terms of food, menu options, decor and even tea selection! There's something for those looking to eat clean but also something for those looking to add a little flavor in their lives. The best part? The food is tasty

Cool classic diner in the middle of town. I honestly didn't have high expectations since I have never heard of this place but went in nonetheless. I was pleasantly surprised. I think this is one of the better diner experiences I have had. It is a clean restaurant with friendly service and plenty of room. They also have ample parking in the back which is also an added plus.
The food was also spot on. The mediterean chopped salad was a good portion and pretty good. I added some avocado to it and it made it even better. I would definitely come back because it looks like they take passion in
