Beautiful theater and excellent volunteer staff.. It's a very warm and friendly environment to see a show. Rules are enforced as everywhere but they do not do it in an obnoxious, overpowering way. Excellent service!!

Great experience, shout out to the staff. My husband was so excited Alan Parsons was playing in concert he overpaid for tickets on a 3rd party website . Show was postponed twice due to covid. Drove from Ft Myers area to see the show, only to find out our tickets were not valid, Albert Barton (name on tickets) had turned them in for a refund and of course we knew nothing of it. Never again, always going to box office/ticketmaster. Thank you so much for making it right for us, can't tell you what it meant that we were able to see this concert! Great show, great venue!! Very possible we'll make the

We've been season ticket holders at Broward Center for two years now. I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we've made. Though it's a luxury expense, it is well worth it. Having a special date night to look forward to for each play has been such a nice treat.

The Broward Center never disappoints. It's always a beautiful venue to go to in a great location. We've also dined at the Broward Center on a few occasions. They have some great options on-site that you can call and reserve prior to your performance.

We love to take a leisurely stroll outside after

Came here on a Sunday for opening weekend of Kinky Boots. My friends and I came to support our Pure Barre teacher who is in the show. Well the show was outstanding and equal to anything I have seen on Broadway. Everything and everyone in the cast was on point which is truly amazing as this is a high energy show. As for the theater it is centrally located in the heart of Ft. Lauderdale outside you can't ask for better views to the East. There is a parking garage next door which makes it a short walk to the theater. Due to Covid you do need to show a vaccination card and keep your mask on.

This is the second show I've seen at the Broward Center in the past month.
Come From Away and The Nutcracker.
The acoustics are great in the theater and the seats are very comfortable.

The Broward Center brings great shows to Fort Lauderdale. Many are the traveling casts of Broadway shows.

Great place to see a how. Easy to find, easy to get in and out of.

Be aware they were requiring vaccine cards for entry, if that is an issue for you.

We were here last to see Buddy Guy and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. The sound was good, the seats were comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the beer prices were not as bad as Hard Rock and other places. It isn't a huge venue, so it has a more intimate feel than some other places. There are good sight and viewing lines from most of the theater. We have been here for other performances such as Christmas shows. They always do a great job. I would

Always like this place except for one thing, the valet. Almost every time I've been here, I've parked in the adjacent garage. For a show this past Saturday, I decided to try valet. Besides it being so backed up and sort of a mess, it cost $30. Wow!! Are u kidding me. I was there 2 hours. Joke. I'll go back to the garage. My advice: avoid valet.

I've been to the Broward Center twice -- once for Les Miserables and once to see the movie "Say Anything" that was followed by an interview with John Cusack. I enjoyed both experiences, between the shows and the intermission where we relaxed for a cocktail in the reception area.

The Broward Center has been around for a while now and is one of my favorite venues to watch live theatrical performances. They have ample parking next to the center where you cross the street to reach the front entrance and is attached to a skywalk that goes over the main street connecting both buildings

The venue is great and very broadway like. You can pre order drinks so you don't have to waIt in intermission which is strongly recommended. We parked in the street which was much cheaper than the 25$ valet. One thing to keep in mind, if you buy the tickets all the way in the back, you won't see it very good(you will see the stage but the actors will be very small)

Absolutely gorgeous venue!!!!! Came here to see Aladdin and all I can say is the outside and inside are absolutely perfect. You definitely get the "night out at the theater" feeling here. So sophisticated and elegant.

They have a full bar and yummy snacks. The bartenders are very attentive and kind. I suggest preordering your drinks for remission, soooo easy and fast!

Will be coming back!!

Broward Center for the Performing Arts is a great place. I have visited here many times for shows such as Kinky Boots, Anastasia, and most recently Aladdin. The staff is very professional from security, bar tending staff, to ushers. The place is well kept and really enjoy coming here.

While the Broward Center deserves a 5 star rating, sound quality is what keeps them from earning this rating. I feel that when you're sitting up in the balcony it loses its full sound acoustically. We should be able to hear the actors as if it were surround sound. Instead, the sound comes out as one dimensional

I was gifted a few tickets to see the Christmas Wonderland show and went here last week.

The musical was good, but the sound level was quite low and I wasn't even sitting so far from towards the back. They could have easily raised it another 25% or so.

Parking is directly across the street with ample space. Parking was taken in advance and was $15.00.

After a quick scan at the entrance to make sure you're not weaponized, they'll bring you in with a really helpful staff eager to get you seated.

Snack offerings were limited to chips, chocolate and flavored popcorn; what&apos

I treated myself to a subscription to the Broward Center this past year because the lineup of touring musicals struck my fancy! My tickets were in the upper level of the orchestra and a great deal when all was said and done. Besides being a great theater for these productions, I had a seamless experience throughout the season with ticket exchanges and more.

The location of the complex makes it great for a date night, as it's walking distance to a bunch of good restaurants. There are also concessions inside, including alcoholic beverage options, all of which you can bring into the theater

I recently had the privilege to take my daughter her for a show/play on her birthday (12/29/17). This was a special treat for the whole family, driving up from Homestead. We all got dressed up in our best and headed out. Being a Broadcasting magnet school, my daughter was very excited to see the live production.

Parking is across the street, so it seemed a little detached from the main building, with no barrier or structure to contain the cars. We were greeted once inside and helped to find our section. We stopped by the stands to buy a few refreshments and everyone was respectful and courteous

I absolutely love this theater! Outside it's decorated beautifully and inside a warm ambience and decor.

I've come to see a few shows here and tonight is Joe Bonamassa. The show was sold out and he totally rocked it!

My only discontent was that the drinks are very expensive!

I always have a wonderful time at the Broward Center for performing arts. First of all, the building is absolutely beautiful.. modern yet classic and elegant.

I have been to Phantom of the Opera, the nutcracker and a holiday concert. Each time is a whole new experience from the seating to the view of the stage. The sound that emulates through the theater is incredible especially when there is an orchestra involved!

I highly recommend catching a show or a concert next time you have the opportunity to so.

OMG, we loved it so much in every way possible.

From the impeccable areas to the wonderful service we had in here.

We watched Phantom of the Opera las Saturday and it was outstanding, the lighting, the sound system, the A/C, the people helping us get to our seats, the neat restrooms, and more.

They have valet parking but I was lucky to find street parking in the street across.

During the intermission, we went for some snacks and we had popcorn, coffee, and a memory mug, all this for $12.00

Thank you for a great experience and see you soon!

Opened in 1991 the Broward Performing Arts Arts Center is a large complex of buildings sitting on 5.5 acres on the New River at Sailboat Bend. Designed by Benjamin C. The larger Au-Rene theater hosts ballets, operas, and Broadway shows. The highly anticipated show Hamilton will be performing here next year. The Amaturo theater hosts children's programs and more intimate music performances. There

I have been living in Fort Lauderdale for close to two years, but this was my first visit here. I always think fondly about the performing arts center (Proctor's in Schenectady, NY) near my hometown where I used to go for touring Broadway productions a few times each year. This Florida venue is about double the size of that one with 5,400 seats.

The building was built in the early 1990s and it is kept up quite nicely. Bathrooms were clean and modern too. We saw a few spots where you could get drinks, but we passed.

It's so nice to be able to check out a Broadway play without
