My first time going there. They had a funeral for someone who passed away named Eleanor Wilson. She was 67. She passed away on September 9, 2021. They had a lot of food there. I had fried chicken, baked chicken, macaroni and cheese, and pork. I put all in one tray. They also had dessert.

It was great being back in the Historic Overtown of Miami. Its not where I grew up, but it feels like home when I visit. Overtown is growing and I was glad to see the progress there.

If you are looking for a spot or location in the Heart of the City look no further. The OPAC can be transformed to virtually serve any event. I am a photographer with Imagery by Jules photography and have captured several events at this venue. We've done photographed eventsfor the Miami Foundation where they used the stage to this most recent black female entrepreneurs business brunch where they completely transformed the room. This is a very versatile space. The space was beautifully designed and decorated by KeAira Chantelle Events.

Originally this was a church, now it is a Performing Arts Center they have structured it where it can be made into many different venues. I personally have gone there for job fairs, meetings, a comedy show Etc. Go enjoy The richest Overtown has to offer. & See a star like R.E.D. ;-)

Nice little intimate setting, however the area is sketchy. I wouldn't feel safe going there alone. There's free parking along adjacent streets, but again, the perceived lack of safety is a concern.

4-Stars for the space, which has a clean, modern aesthetic. The space is a converted church so expect the floorplan to be reminiscent of that. It's a great size for an intimate event. I've been when there were about 75-100 guests and it was quite nice. Noticed that there is a restaurant quality kitchen there as well for anyone that needs a full-catered affair. My only criticism is that the sound system (for certain uses) leaves a bit to be desired - this is something that I'm sure could be upgraded in time.
If you're looking for a historically relevant, unique event space - you should really look
