Cheryl Fishken, Licensed Massage Therapist, provides a variety of massage experiences that are integral to the healing process and provide a deep and lasting relaxation. Working closely with our doctors, and possessing a thorough understanding of anatomy & physiology allows her to provide targeted relief to her clients, by identifying the source of pain or tension, and managing it effectively in a relaxing environment.
Initial evaluations last 55 minutes. We will ask you a series of questions to develop a comprehensive picture of you as an individual, your goals, and your current physical and functional impairment. Then, we will complete a physical examination looking at your range of motion, strength, and other physical attributes in order to establish an appropriate plan of care.

Wonderful experience. Dr. Ashenfelter was amazing with my son who was rehabbing a broken arm. Not only was the treatment top notch, but the the way she is with kids in particular is great. She had fun ways for my son (and siblings) to make rehab enjoyable. Her communication is excellent and she truly cares. The whole family actually misses going!

I have seen Dr. Ashenfelter for therapy and postpartum recovery through two of my pregnancies. I was seeking a practice that specializes in pelvic floor rehabilitation and was guided to Oak PT by my midwives. Dr. Ashenfelter is incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. She truly goes above and beyond to ensure the overall health and well being of her patients. I can say that I have never seen a practice more dedicated to their patients and their community than Oak PT and will certainly be recommending them to anyone seeking physical therapy!

Dr. Ashenfelter has a whole person/holistic approach to how she views and treats patients. She is extremely knowledgeable, and bases her advice and treatment plans on evidence based medicine. At the same time she is warm and comforting and doesn’t view your problem in isolation from the rest of your body. Her combination of knowledge and exceptional “bedside” manner is truly unique to the medical community.
