I fell in love with the emotions attached to photographs long before I fell in love with the art of capturing them. Pictures of my mother taken when she was younger than I am now, her dark hair hanging to her shoulders as she smiles down at me in the carrier she wears across her chest. Pictures of my father in his tight jeans and long hair, smiling wildly by one of his favorite motorcycles.
These images not only evoke emotion and memories to be shared - they give me a glimpse into who they were before they were my parents and now as a mother of children who seem to have grown up so quickly, it's all I can do to freeze these moments of a time I'm sure will be the best of my life. It was my husband who gifted me my first DSLR as well as my second, along with a note that said "I believe in you".

Although I'd say I specialize in maternity, newborns and littles, my heart lies with newborn portraiture. I have taken several workshops {both online and in person} to learn the latest techniques and safety in posing to bring you portraits that will last much longer than the time they are this little.
They'll only be this little once! Grabbing their toes, big toothless smiles, finally able to sit on their own, these packages are designed to capture all the milestones! These sessions can also be used for older kids too! Just bring your little one and an outfit or two, or help yourself to a piece in my studio wardrobe.
Cake Smash Sessions are the perfect way to celebrate your little one's first birthday! Together we will collaborate on the perfect theme or color scheme for your child's session and then - you're done! You can sit back and relax while I take care of virtually everything else!
Each set is designed by me using hand picked pieces, many of which come straight from my studio that is stocked to the brim with fun props, creative backdrops and anything else you can think of to add the perfect touch to any set!Even your cake will delivered to the studio, all before you even arrive!

Sara and her sister, Karissa, were awesome! Very professional and patient! They work magic as a team to get photos of our newborn and toddler, and my wife and I couldn't be more happy with the results. They went above and beyond taking extra time to get each shot perfect. Sara also has tons of props, fabrics, and backgrounds in studio to get the custom shot you need.

Sara did such an AMAZING job on our newborn photos! Sara and her assistant were so sweet and patient with my daughter! It took her a while to fall asleep but at no point did we feel rushed! We also had family pictures which included my 3 year old son and they did so good with him too! He can be pretty shy but they were able to make him feel comfortable and get him to smile for the pictures! They also had a little toy area that kept my son busy while his sister was having her photos taken and he even got to pick out a toy to take home before we left! By the time we were done, he just wanted to keep

Sara Pope is amazing! As a first time mom, I didn’t even think of booking my newborn’s session until after her birth. Luckily, Sara was able to fit us into her schedule right on time and we are so glad she did. Sara and her sister were amazing with my baby. I was able to just sit, relax, and watch them work their magic. They take care of everything! Sara captured such beautiful photos, we absolutely love them!

Sara is Amazing. We had a great experience with Sara. When we went in with my newborn, she handled everything and we just relax. We chose Sara Pope Photography for our son's newborn pictures based on all the amazing reviews as well as word of mouth from friends and so was happy Sara had availability. I could not be more pleased with our experience working with Sara. We recently had a newborn shoot for our son with Sara Pope and had a fabulous experience! The studio was nice and cozy and Sara and her assistant were super friendly and of course great with our baby. Though he was way past the recommended 14 day old age (time really gets away from you with a little one!) Sara got us a variety of photos including some sleepy and awake shots and she did a great job of capturing his personality and got some great smiles out of him.
