It is the mission of Savannah Ballet Theatre to develop and showcase the talent of dedicated Savannah dancers and to engage in educational outreach and promotion of the art of dance within our community. Currently celebrating its 20th season, Savannah Ballet Theatre (SBT) was established in 1998 under the artistic direction of Suzanne Braddy.

Savannah Ballet School of Dance is Savannah's Premiere school of dance and professional company. Now, what does THAT mean?
Savannah Ballet Theatre is seeking professional dancers to fill positions at all levels within the company for the exciting 2021/2022 Season. SBT's repertory includes classical full-length ballets and exciting original productions. Company benefits include pointe shoes and performances pay. Apprentices (ages 17-21) pay a nominal tuition fee, receive daily training, and take company class and perform with the full company in all productions.
It is the mission of Savannah Ballet Theatre to develop and showcase the talent of dedicated Savannah dancers and to engage in educational outreach and promotion of the art of dance within our community. SBT is committed to meaningful community education and outreach. Each season, SBT fully and partially subsidizes tickets and transportation for two performances of professionally staged ballets.
We are so proud of Gally Smith who has been accepted into the year round program at Joffrey Ballet in New York City. We miss her but wish her the best of luck! Way to go Gally! SBT's own Claire Bryant has been accepted to the very competitive dance program at Savannah Arts Academy. Ms. Bryant is also a talented singer and has performed with the Savannah Children's Choir.
