One good thing to start: they arrived in a timely manner. However, I should have known something was off when the driver didn’t lift a finger to help my elderly mother into a very steep cab. Not once was the fare displayed, so imagine my surprise that it was 44 dollars for a 20 minute ride (no traffic). Payment was more difficult than it should have been.. would never call this company again.

This was my first time using a cab anywhere, and it was pretty disappointing, only giving them 2 stars because they arrived on time. When I called to ask how it worked and said it was my first time using a cab he actually laughed at me and said "wow" (in a rude way, not a friendly way.) I had looked at prices for cabs online in Martha's Vineyard beforehand and it looked like it should be about a $5-10 trip for the 3 miles I was going. The total ended up being $25. Adam’s Cab sneakily packs 4 different parties (11 people - aka strangers) into one cab, not requiring any masks during peak delta variant pandemic on the island. This is wreckless and totally beyond irresponsible. If your party is taking a private ride and chooses not to wear masks that’s one thing. To pack us in as sardine-strangers is beyond at this time in the world. Will be calling Massachusetts department of health on them immediately. Ten thumbs down.

If I could give zero stars I would. Stay away from this company. It could cost you! To begin with, my daughter was picked up late from her hotel to go to the airport, and without her consent, the driver stopped to pick up other passengers. These passengers proceeded to take pictures outside of the cab wasting more time. When my daughter nicely reminded the driver that she had to get to the airport to check bags she was told everything would be fine. Well, it was not fine! Appalling Pandemic behavior exhibited by this company. We had called ahead and scheduled a cab pick up in Oak Bluffs to Edgartown. They asked us to wait 20 minutes, which we did. When finally picked up - our party of 3 were the only people in the XL van which was par for the course since I had scheduled this cab in advanced. Unknown to us, 4 MORE parties were immediately picked up from the ferry. These parties ranged from 1 person to 3 people parties all stuffed in the same van. Much to our dismay, masks were NOT required or even suggested! Mind you, 6 restaurants are closed in Edgartown right

My teenage son and his friends were out last night got my sons birthday. Got a ride and we’re charged $40 more than my husband and I were charged for the same fare the other day. Not only that the driver did not know where he was going and dropped them at Cronigs rather than take them all the way home. Just disgusting treatment of good kids. Absolutely criminal. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.I grew up here came home for a vacation to see family. So I know the island.

Adam Cab is by far the most unprofessional and disjointed taxi service I have ever experienced. Firstly, both times we ordered the taxi, they were between 5 and 10 minutes late. When we called again, the dispatcher (Chaliffe) was very short with us. Secondly, the pricing system is completely bogus and easily a method to take a little more from travelers. When ordering the taxi over the phone, the person on the other line said the price of the cab would be $40. Once we were picked up, our driver called Chaliffe about 5 minutes into our trip, and he said the price would now be $50. After we confronted

During my annual trek to my happy place-Martha's Vineyard-i had an experience with this Cab company, Adams Cab.
A (what I thought) nice young man, smiling brightly picked us up at the airport for transport to our cottage in Oak Bluffs. Unaware of the customary charge, we paid $50.00 plus a $5.00 tip for what is usually a $20.00 plus $4.00 additional person charge. I just learned the customary charge, ergo this review. Shame on you Adams Cab company for this predatory act, while my vacation is going wonderfully, your act has placed a bad mark on my usual joy!

Spoke with them a couple days ago about making a reservation for pickup in oaks bluff. Was informed that I don't need a reservation and just call when the boat arrives. So I called when the boat arrived and was told they had nobody available. However I did notice as I was walking to my other company that I chose that allowed me to make a reservation that there was an adam cab at the pickup area. I guess they took a reservation for someone else? Who knows. I definitely won't be calling them again

First driver met us from the ferry and seemed to be falling asleep on the ride to the hotel. Fighting to keep his eyes open. We initiated conversation with him to keep him awake but still had a couple close calls-almost rear ending a couple of people.
Then upon departure used them again hoping for better- it was worse.This time driver not wearing real mask-some type of knit scarf with plenty of holes. He cut off a group of bikers by pulling out in front of them unexpectedly. Will definitely be choosing a different company next time!

This guy was a lifesaver! I had an early flight out of MVY and it didn't even occur to me to book a ride ahead of time. They didn't answer the phone at 4:15am (I mean, of course not. Nobody does) but after trying 5 other cab companies, calling the airport for advice (the night operator there was very friendly and as helpful as he could be), and checking Lyft and Uber non-stop, Adam Cab answered and was there in 10 minutes. This company is the biggest tourist trap. As soon as we left the steamship authority ferry today, there were already a few of these big van taxis waiting. Us, 2 adults and 1 child, had no idea how to find our way around yet. And we just wanted to get to our place. The driver waived us into this van, 3 people already waiting inside the cab. So, it was a SHARED cab ride. The driver told us "28 dollars" to get from Oak Bluffs ferry terminal to Edgartown on Main St.
We assumed all the parties in the cab would share the cost, it seemed fair. But wrong!!

I live and work on Martha's Vineyard for a number of years now, I admit I don't normally take taxis, it so happens that I need to catch the 6am boat in Vineyard Haven, I thought I could just get an uber to take me to the boat but to my surprise there where no cars available at 5am. I tried calling a few taxi companies but no one was interested in giving me a ride that early . Adam Cab was the only company to answer, Thank you

Save your dollars. Get an Uber if you can. We were a family of 4 and got a different taxi to Edgartown from Oak Bluffs for $40 with 4 stops. On the way back from Edgartown (movie theater area on Main Street) with one less stop, Adam Cab charged us $60 ($20 a stop, within a mile from all three stops in Oak Bluffs). I tried to call and reason, but that's their policy; too steep and not concerned about competing prices. Seriously criminal to charge $60 for three stops on the way home from each other within a mile at 9 PM at night on a Thursday. I do live here year round, so maybe I am more sour

Adam Cab is my go-to cab service on Martha's Vineyard! They are reliable, always on time, and very friendly. Plus, the staff is always courteous and willing to help with luggage, boxes, and anything else I'm transporting. I live and work in Edgartown, MV and take taxis on a weekly basis - I recommend Adam Cab 100%!
