Whether you want to buy something for a one-time event, or you're looking for a wardrobe that changes with the seasons, you can consider everything we have to offer by letting our personal shopper bring items to your home or business.
We do not buy gowns from the public but we can help you sell yours on consignment in our store. That means you agree to allow us to display your gown for sale and when purchased, you will receive payment in the amount agreed upon at the time of the consignment agreement. Owner Melissa was very rude on several of the appointments, made alterations without my approval. I try to support local when I can but she's not one I would ever recommend again. I only did alterations there, and it was an extremely expensive nightmare. ($918 in alterations to hem my dress and take it in one size). PS hope you like smoke, had to have my dress dry cleaned the day before my wedding bc the dress smelled like cigarettes after being with her.

Beyond frustrated and let down by Melissa. She altered my dress in ways we didn't discuss or agree too. Last fitting was more than a month before my wedding, picked it up the day before my wedding to find out she added straps. She had suggested them prior I was adamant I didn't want them, she insisted. Told her they needed to be removable if she insisted (me trying to keep peace). She sewed then in. So now on my wedding day I will have to be allowing my dress my self. Spent over $900 in alterations for her to do what she wanted, all I wanted was bottom hemmed to proper length.

Melissa got me in right away and has worked well with me. Im not sure what the few bad reviews are about but when you're great at what you do its not always about people pleasing. It's about getting you into your dress the way you need it on your big day! And she definitely has done that. I've been kind and respectful and the same has been shown to me 💞 Love perfect stitch so happy they were reccomended!

Shopping for my wedding dress could not have been easier! They have a variety of styles, options and price ranges. They are so easy to work with and make your shopping experience easy going! The owner and seamstress, Melissa, works WONDERS on your dress if you need alterations. She put so much work into my dress and it showed on my wedding day! It was flawless. I cannot recommend them enough!

Melissa and her staff were fantastic. I bought my dress from a shop on the northside and came down to The Perfect Stitch for alterations. They were sooo nice and did an amazing job! My dress fit like a glove and all the hand stitching was immaculate. Also, my dress didn't come with a bustle and Melissa made one and it looked beautiful. She also made my veil. Definitely recommend them if you need alterations!
