In planning for the future, establishing an estate plan is one of the most important steps you can take to protect yourself and your loved ones. Proper estate planning not only puts you in charge of your finances, it can also spare your loved ones of the expense, delay and frustration associated with managing your affairs when you pass away or become disabled.
When a loved one passes away with just a Will, or no estate plan at all, his or her family is required to put the estate through a court managed process called probate. While most of our clients set up their estates through a living trust to avoid it, the majority of estates do go through probate, which can be a confusing, frustrating and arduous process.

Planning your estate shouldn't be something that's left for the last minute. Proper estate planning can and will make the transition much easier when a loved one passes away. Without proper estate planning you're setting your family up for added stress in their time of need. Proper estate planning is important to eliminate a variety of uncertainties that come when one passes away.
The probate process is never the same. In fact, the probate process can be lengthy and confusing for those who haven't navigated the process before. Losing a loved one can be a difficult transition. Not only do you have to deal with the emotional side, but you also have to take care of the financial side of the equation, which often includes executing an estate.
Receiving an eviction notice can be incredibly stressful. When you've received an eviction notice it's important to handle the manner in a quick and effective process, otherwise you run the risk of being evicted. It is possible to have the charges disputed, but only if you act fast and take the right course of action.

I first met Tyler 6 or 7 years ago when I needed my trust and will updated. He was able to streamline my existing plan and explain things in layman's terms. Next he executed a Special Needs Trust for a family member and then settled that estate.
He has really gone the extra mile with some complicated matters and done it in a laid back low key manner. I consider him a friend not just my attorney.

I was looking for Medi-Cal planning advice and called Tyler as a shot in the dark. Despite not being a Medi-Cal planning attorney per se, he spent a half hour on the phone with me providing insight and direction (at no cost to me). He did then ask about estate planning, which is not something I'd ever considered, but I realized it was something we needed to do especially since our first child was born 4 months ago. I've been working with Tyler since to set up a trust for our family and the experience has smooth and informative. Tyler definitely knows his trade, his communication is solid

My wife and I recently met with Tyler to do an estate plan. He met with us on a Sunday to accommodate for our busy schedules. His office is comfortable and had fresh complementary coffee. Tyler walked us through the process step by step, confidently answering any questions we had (we had many). Following the meeting, Tyler gave us further instructions as to where to go from here (meeting with a bank representative, etc). We have since called Tyler a few times with additional questions in which he has either answered them immediately or gotten back to us in a timely manner. I highly recommend Tyler

Tyler has completed estate planning and trusts for several family members. I appreciate his ability to be hones. Instead of just telling you what you want to hear, he tells you what the law allows. I also appreciated his ability to separate what seemed like very complicated issues, into manageable matters that are clear and straight forward. He was very timely in his work and was extremely flexible with setting appointments. Trusts are very important in protecting your assets, and I am thankful that Tyler makes this very sensitive and emotional process as smooth as possible.

I found Tyler from a friend he was so detailed when we put together our family trust. I felt like he took the time to understand our plans but was so patient answering all out questions. Once we received our paperwork it was in a well organized binder that will make a potentially difficult day in the future less stressful. Since having Tyler complete our living trust I have referred him to clients and friends and family. He is a consummate professional with a wonderful demeanor and good sense of humor who has become one of our trusted advisors. Keep up the good work!

When my husband and I were looking for an attorney to put together our estate plan, we asked around and had several friends recommend Tyler. He fit us in right away to get started and was super friendly and knowledgeable when we met to learn more about what he offers and how the whole process works. Estate plans from Tyler are a package deal- no cost for the initial meeting or if you need to call and ask questions down the road, something my husband and I found super reassuring. When we went back to sign the documents, he explained each part of the estate plan again, leaving us feeling confident
