We purchased bikes for our grandsons, spending over $300 for each bike. At the time of sale, he happily delivered each bike. When one bike needed repair, we were told he doesn’t pick up and deliver!!!! Seems that service is limited to only purchases when you’re spending money
I would never recommend this bike shop. A miserable way to do business.

I am highly disappointed in the customer service. I purchased 2 bikes at the shop both in the $300 plus range. Both bikes are well taken care of but constantly needing repairs such as the chain popping and gears not working. I do not own a truck to transport the bikes and I am unable to have them fixed. Further, it is to far to walk the bike to the shop. When I purchased both bikes I felt like I spent local and would be given local service back. I asked if it was possible to pick the bike up to be fixed but it is not an option and I understand but just disappointed and will have to take the bike

Brought my bike in to be fixed .. the axle is broken. As I was riding it the pedals stoped and it’s happened before and was repaired before, I have bought 4 bikes from there and was told it was my fault for not bringing it in earlier .. not sure what that meant when i asked him he told me lots of people bring their bikes in before it actually breaks .. again not sure what that actually means when you’re riding somewhere and you hear a noise then start heading toward the bike shop and it completely breaks now what ?? and they also said that they told me at last repair it may not hold. Was on a wait list for months waiting for a bike. Got a call this morning thAt a bike came in and I was on the top of the list with stars next to my name so they called me first I said I would be right over and they said they would put my name on the bike to hold. I live a few towns away so it took me 30 mins to get there and I was informed they sold my bike to a random person that walked in the store. Terrible customer service!!! They should be ashamed of themselves. She didn't even feel bad!

Best place ever!! My bike broke going over the 88 bridge. Walked to A1 and he was super busy fixing a ton of bikes. Came and saw mine and fixed in 2 min! He didn’t even want to charge us. Honesty and good people here. I will only buy bikes here and will continue to buy our bikes here. Absolutely A1!!!

This is the second bike I bought from this store for my son and daughter. Not pushy but yet very helpful in showing my son all the features of his new Mountain bike today!!

The best bike store on the Jersey Shore. Family owned and operated they provide amazing, friendly service and are really knowledgeable about their business. I highly recommend!

Prices are a bit high. $90 - to add training wheels to two old bikes I owned. ( I forgot them at my house )

Having made the rounds of local bike shops we were very pleased with the attention and time spent with us at A-1 bicycles. Every customer that came in was immediately acknowledged whether it was for a simple repair, bike rental, or purchase of a new bike. Bonus was a 10% military discount (current or retired). Nice selection of bikes and able to ride the area to test out bike. We felt good about keeping it local.

Best bike store! I work at the CoastGuard station and he keeps my bike shop in tip top performance so I can carry out the duties of the CoastGuard

Great bike shop! Just bought two Sun Baja Cruz 7-Speed fat bikes and they were super helpful getting everything setup and adjusting the bikes so they were ready to go. I rode one back to Ortley Beach right after I bought it. This is a family business and they do it right. All questions answered, great customer service, very friendly... Highly recommend. They also service bikes and provide free service for the first 30 days (I'm sure within reason) if you need any adjustments. Our family has bought 10 bikes from them over the last 8-10 years and we keep coming back.

I was out on a Bike-about this past summer. I stopped in to check out a new bike saddle. This guy, that works there, Brian set me up with a perfect fit, like he just knew what I needed! Best shop around!!!!
