Regular nose-to-tail wellness exams, early detection, and age-specific assessments help keep your pet healthy. Many animals are good at hiding signs that something is wrong, so subtle changes in their health or behavior might be overlooked without preventive care. At Best Friends Animal Hospital, our treatment philosophy is aimed at prevention with early diagnosis and treatment.
Early detection using diagnostic testing provides a complete picture of your pet's health, improving outcomes, and providing baseline results. Our staff is committed to helping you get a full picture of your pet's health through laboratory and diagnostic testing. Annual blood testing helps us determine a normal baseline for your pet.
Our experienced veterinary team provides comprehensive medical care, ranging from routine to advanced procedures and treatments. Although we handle the majority of your pet's medical and surgical needs in-house, we occasionally refer patients to veterinary specialists or specialty clinics when advanced training or equipment will be beneficial.

I have a special needs kitty and they always make time for her. She actually likes the vet too! So that is a good sign! They are very personable and treat you like a friend. They always try to help you out and really listen to your concerns and get back to you promptly with an answer .I had a senior cat who was ill and they were very comforting and patient through the end of his life. We love Best Friends

I have no issues with them since starting to go to them. They all love my dog even when she doesn’t like them at first (what dog likes going to the vet in the first place) anytime I’ve messaged about an appointment or medicine I’ll hear back that day or the next day. Great place to take your animal.

I wish I could remember everyone's names but I can not... the entire staff at BestFriends is amazing! When I recently had to put my Sammie down due to health issues , I was treated with love and kindness ❤! I will not forget how it made me to feel to believe the staff and Dr. Debbie( I think that's her name) really care about what we were going through. I love the entire Best Friends Staff !!!! THANK YOU

I will always have a special place in my heart for best friends and all their staff. Dr.Card went above and beyond for me and my family when my 3 year old dog, Maya, was diagnosed with stage 3 Lymphoma cancer. All of the staff(Tyler, Cynthia, Jackie, and many others) were soo helpful and kind to me at such a vulnerable and devastating time. They even got together and signed and mailed a sympathy card to me after Maya passed. It meant a lot to me and my Fiancé. Thank you best friends for putting the animals and their owners first over profits.
