My stay at this Rehabilitation Center was wonderful, they provide great care, clean rooms, and wonderful staff. I would recommend it to everyone who needs rehab care. Thank you Mayer for making it such a wonderful stay. This is the 2nd time I'm at this facility for rehab, the rehab team is wonderful.

*DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES TO BRIARCLIFF MANOR CENTER FOR TREATMENT AND REHAB*. My mother was admitted the Briarcliff for rehab after suffering a stroke to get therapy and her mobility back. When I arrived to the facility the next day (less than 24 hours later) to check on my mother, I found my mother in her room with the door closed sitting in a wheelchair actively throwing up on herself with her eyes rolling in the back of her head. I stayed at Briarcliff Manor Rehab for about 2 1/2 weeks, which were miserable. The nurse practitioner literally tried to kill me by removing me from all of my prescriptions, some controlled. They even administered one daily, which was only supposed to be administered once weekly.
That nurse practitioner knew that she was in a lot of trouble when Phelps Hospital had to return me. The social worker there didn’t want to transfer me to another facility and I even overheard him say this. My dear friend, who is a nearby social worker, arranged everything so fast that the Briarcliff Manor social worker

Wish I could give this place NO stars. Received NO communication from the staff; never once received a care plan for my father's short-term rehab stay, updates on his progress or his condition, NOTHING. The social worker could not be less caring, brushed me off at every chance she got. The concierge could not even book visitation appointments properly. The admissions director stopped talking to me once I started to complain about lack of service. They put my father on oxygen without informing me (I would have agreed to it of course, but I did not like the surprise when I went to pick him up). I

My. mother was a resident at Briarcliff Manor Center for approximately 3 months after a a very scary fall which landed her in the hospital with a brain bleed and broken leg. We could not have been happier with her experience here. The rehab was WONDERFUL. The staff was so kind and caring. They were extremely responsive to any concerns, questions or requests that we had. My mom was actually sad to leave the staff on her discharge day. The people here are wonderful and I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who has a loved one in need of rehab.

Communication for our loved one who was unable to advocate for herself was moderately ok. Physical visits by family members there were disturbed on how aides spoke to our loved one using last name only and not addressing her with respect and her decline in alertness in just a short period of time. Overall nursing care was erratic and they neglected to identify and treat her thrush for over 5 days which she had developed upon discharge from hospital and interfered with ability to intake nutrition. It was up to a family friend to ask that it be addressed and still took 3+ days with no appearance

I came to this facility for rehab, the team is very helpful. Erika has been a great asset to my stay. I enjoy going to recreation on my free time. Guy from nursing is doing a great job. Physical therapy is phenomenal, they are really ontop of their game. The patio look beautiful with all the new plants and flowers.

Good Job nursing and rehab departments for taking such good care from my aunt, no words can describe the appreciation our family has for this facility. The communication we received from the staff starting from the administration, doctors, rehabilitation and nursing team was timely and effective. I have been a patient here for 6 weeks, I have to say Mayer Goldberg has been a great help to me he treated me and my family with the utmost respect and dignity, has made my stay here great due to his curtesy, professionalism, and caring character, this facility is very lucky to have someone like him on the staff. My physical therapists have made it possible for me to go home walking and doing things I couldn’t do when I came in. All nurses were very professional and made my stay very comfortable. My mother was very pleased with her stay here for 5 months. I felt like she was in good hands with the caring staff. Rehab & nursing did a great job with her, she's now able to feed herself. Facility appeared to be cleaned, and I heard food is excellent and abundant. Mayer is an asset to this facility; he was always there to lend a hand for all your needs and responded promptly to my texts. Since we weren't able to visit frequently during COVID, he ensured communication between me and my mom. Over all I give this facility a five.
