We recently moved to Rogers Park and are lucky to have such company serving this and the surrounding areas. They have helped me install a water heater, HVAC/AC repair and periodic maintenance. Boris is extremely responsive and always reserves a day during the week for emergencies. In summary, they are very honest, responsive, professional and friendly. I highly recommend them--Last but not least, their fees are reasonable and fair!

Excellent experience with Boris and his crew installing SpacePak in my 100+ year old home. From the beginning, they were very responsive and knowledgeable. Once selected, Boris was in constant communication with me about scheduling and what to expect. The work was done on time and at a competitive price. I also appreciated how much work the crew put into keeping the house clean throughout. After installation, Boris diagnosed a small issue that would not have manifested itself for at least a few years and spent some extra time here making sure it was addressed. Very impressive and highly recommended

Boris and his brother are absolutely terrific.They installed a full heating/AC system in our new construction home, and have continued to provide periodic maintenance for us. Boris is extremely responsive, fielding calls and returning them promptly. Their fees are reasonable and fair. I met Boris when he was working on the property next door. Turns out he had installed the Space Pak in my 120 yr old farmhouse a year prior to when I purchased the property.
Fast forward a year later when there was a sudden gas leak coming from the 30 year old boiler. After 2 contractors came out from my home warranty company and couldn't address the issue or the leak.... I called Boris. He was able to locate the issues within the boiler and installed essentially all new components in the unit at a fair price. It's now running like new, just in time for the chilly fall weather to hit

Called Next Step because we were looking for an air conditioner that was quiet so it didn't disturb our neighbors. The estimate was inline or lower than our unusual provider and they arranged for us to view the unit at their distributor to conduct a sound test to assure that the unit wouldn't disturb our neighbors. NS arrived on time installed the unit, they had to come back and they did and competed the job cleaned up the workspace. At no time were we were out service.

Our HVAC just stopped working. We called this company for the first time and they scheduled their visit right away. Arrived on time and within 15 mins they diagnosed the problem, let us know what it would cost, and ordered the part needed for it. They came back and made the repair. We rarely get great customer service, professionalism, and great price all from one place. I highly recommend them!

Our office AC broke down, and after couple attempts with other HVAC service providers, we just couldnt solve the problem permanently, and the AC kept breaking down. Then we found out about Boris, and he was able to diagnose the correct cause and fix the root of the problem, and it has been 3 months since, we have absolutely no problems with the AC anymore. I recommend Boris and his team for all your HVAC issues, no matter how impossible they seem!

These guys are great, I always refer them to friends whenever they need HVAC help. I have them work on my office space, my rental property as well as my own house.
They have fair competitive pricing and do a quality job you can depend on for years to come!
They work on both newer and older units and will give you honest input on the life you may have left in your existing unit vs just having someone tell you buy a new unit even if you can get a few more years out of the old one.
Honesty and good work are hard to come by in this line of work, but these guys go above and beyond.

My air conditioner broke down on the hottest day this year, so I called for an estimate. Even though it was late and Boris was done working he stopped in to see what the problem was. Boris was very professional and was able to diagnose the problem immediately. He is very fair with pricing and did an outstanding job. I would definitely recommend this company
