My name is Whitney Wilcox I am the sole owner of Studio 17 located in Sola Salon Suites. I have been a hairstylist since 2010 and I opened Studio 17 in 2015. My favorite part of being a hairstylist is getting to know my clients who have become like family to me. I pride myself on keeping up to date with the latest trends and furthering my knowledge of different techniques as the times change.
I am proficient at color, cutting and styling. I enjoy helping clients maintain or update their current look and love to help new clients with any haircut or color corrections if needed. You leaving looking and feeling your best is my highest priority.

Whitney is by far the most talented and loveliest hairstylist I have ever known. I wouldn't trust anyone with my hair but her. I highly recommended her. I always leave the salon happier and more than satisfied with my hair. She saved my hair after really bad haircut and turned it to one of the best haircuts I ever had. Whitney has the sweetest personality and she really cares and listens to her customers.

I just love Yelp! Without Yelp reviews, I would have not found the talented Whitney at Studio 17. It was just yesterday when I got a trim/haircut. When I arrived I wasn't sure if I was at the right place due the building name of Sola Salons. I vaguely remember Studio 17 without looking at my phone. Luckily there was a customer waiting outside a suite and I asked her how to find my stylist. She pointed out there's a directory at the entrance of the stylist name and location. Outside of each suite the business name/suite number is right above.

Whitney is amazing! I found her through Groupon and have tried other stylists, but I always find a way back to Whitney. I live in CA now but every time I go back to visit Portland, I try to find a time to get my hair cut by her because I know she'll do a great job and she offers her services at very reasonable prices. She must have the magic touch because my hair always turns out amazing when she cuts and styles it. I never feel pressured to dye my hair or buy products and am super comfortable and trusting of her. Definitely recommend her to anyone! Go see Whitney!

Whitney is my hero! I found her 4 years ago on Groupon, and refuse to go anywhere else. She's great with my blonde hair, and my indecisiveness on what shade I want to go is easily solved with her knowledge of how my hair will react to bleach and what best suits my skin tone.
She's constantly going to classes to teach herself new products and techniques- and has somehow figured out how to battle my frizzy hair.I'm always happy with the result!

What to say about Whitney...she is the bomb.com. Seriously though, I went to her after seeing a gal at my nail salon who had great blonde hair. Whitney has done my highlights and cut a few times and she never disappoints. Her salon is clean and quiet and she is a great conversationalist. I would (and have) recommend anyone go there! I actually recommended a brunette coworker who has been extremely pleased with the all over color and cut. Go see Whitney!

Whitney is amazing! Her super power is that she really listens to her clients! She is knowledgeable about how to treat colored hair. I was tired of coloring my hair, I asked Whitney to strip the color away and also give me a manageable hair style. She took care of all my requests with flying colors ( no pun intended! ). I am so grateful I found her. I recently moved here and was having a difficult time finding a hair stylist who gave a good hair cut. If I could sing, my playlist would be singing Whitneys praises! A few years ago I found Whitney by chance and I couldn't be happier! Not only is she a complete sweetheart, but her skills in cut, coloring, and styling are way above average! Every time I leave her salon I not only look amazing, but I feel amazing too. Whitney has been doing my hair for 7+ years now and I am always so happy and satisfied with the results! I found Whitney Wilcox about 3 years ago when I purchased a Groupon from her salon. I feel very lucky that she was the stylist I got my appointment with. I see her regularly now every 8-10 weeks. She is an extremely talented colorist, and knows what will look best with my face and skin tone. I trust her completely. My hair always looks amazing when I leave her chair. She does my husband and kids hair too! I've recommended several friends to her and they have all become returning clients. Whitney is hip, artistic and fun to be around. Absolutely the perfect combo for a stylist!
