It began in 1984, when Gene & Janice Rampy pursued their American dream and opened Centex Mechanical in their hometown of Elgin. Having outgrown its location by 1997, the business moved to Bastrop.

Tim Dixon is always on-time, professional and does a great job in taking care of all my HVAC needs. He is usually the service technician taking care of my service needs, so that familiarity and history with my system is an added bonus. Excellent company!!! Darryl our Maintenance Technician was exceptional! Darryl was very professional and respectful of our home. The first thing Darryl did was put on his shoe cover and explained to my Mother and Father everything that was going to be done and then updated them with what needed to be done and pricing before he performed the work. He found the unit had not been installed properly and promptly remedied the situation!
We are very pleased with this company and will definitely use them again for all our heating and cooling needs!!! Thanks again Darryl for your excellence and professionalism
