Cool Chez

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They came to "repair" our air conditioning with an error on their end we had an overflow and flood in our house. They told us to get someone to repair and they would pay for it. Feeling un easy about that we filed an insurance claim that way the insurance could go after them. We had 10k of damages and repairs that needed to be done. I had to pay THOUSANDS out of pocket. After months of delaying and ignoring my calls they were supposed to set up payment with our insurance company and have completely neglected this. He hangs up on me and ignores all my calls. I called up cool Chez. Needed someone from his company to come and check out my broken thermostat. He picked up the phone. We scheduled for the next day. He arrived on time. Very professional. Very good service and his prices are very competitive. The best part is that he is a honest company. Most other companies will try to upsell you to make more money from you. This company is honest. And provided me excellent service. I highly recommend.

Upstairs AC was not blowing cool air. I submitted a request for quote on Yelp at 4pm on a Friday. Got a response in 5 minutes with a quote and said they were available that afternoon. They showed up at 5:15pm, fixed the problem, were gone by 5:30. It turned out to be a small problem and the service was so good that I'll definitely call Cool Chez the next time I have any HVAC issues.

My AC was not blowing any cold air and the fan outside was constantly on. This was on a hot Saturday. Called Chez and he put me on his schedule, adviced me to turn off my unit. He showed up on time and said it was a busted capacitor. He replaced it, fill my AC with freon, gave us a fair price and the amily was cool and happy. Would greatly recommend his services.

Chez is A+++. Cannot reccomend him enough. He's honest and will take care of you. He is busy, so it might take him a bit to get to you, but he is worth it.

I am very pleased with Chez' work, knowledge and speed of services. He worked me into his already busy Saturday, and then did the same on Sunday. Very professional and courteous. I WILL be using him again and highly recommend him to everyone.

I had an A/C leak so I went to yelp immediately to find an HVAC repair company. I found Cool Chez who had limited, but excellent reviews. I called and he answered immediately and was willing to come out that evening. I instead made an appointment with him the next day. He came out and diagnosed a minor problem that he was able to repair in a couple hours at a reasonable price. This is my second review for Cool Chez and I would give six stars if I could! Chez and his crew performed a complex install (replacing two GE VTAC heat pump systems) in a very difficult, tight space. Professional, courteous, and all those things you hope for when hiring someone to do work in your home, but what really set them apart was the attention to detail. They really went the extra mile to make sure everything was done right. Exceeded all expectations!

We hired this contractor based on a referral from a friend. He would only show up when he wanted and left us out on a limb several times. If he would just do what he says, this would be a good business.

I hired this gentleman to redo a job I'd already paid a different contractor to do. He is professional, cordial, and has a great work ethic. Chez gave me a bid and a time frame of three days. He showed up on a Wednesday and worked well into the hour of 10 pm. He went above and beyond in his efforts to finish replacing my entire duct system in a timely manner. I commend him for finishing on Thursday (a day ahead of schedule) and for doing an outstanding job! He takes pride in providing quality service and even guarantees his work.

I selected this company to replace an air conditioning unit at my rental property because of the price he charged a friend for a like system. What a mistake. Cool Chez only shows for work when he wants, never keeps an appointment, doesn't call to let you know he will or will not show, does not return calls. The work was done poorly and he never returned to complete the job as specified. Water leaked into the drain pan immediately and trash was left behind in the attic. I had to hire another contractor to correct the problems caused by this contractor. I am surprised he is still in business. Buyer

Came home to a hot house on a holiday weekend. Was expecting no one to be available to come right away, let alone within an hour! Chez answered on the first call and was out to our house within an hour of calling him. He was very friendly and informative. He said he wouldn't charge just for diagnosing the problem. He showed me exactly what was wrong and what part needed to be replaced (presumably giving me a chance to fix it myself). Oh my goodness! Called on a Sunday & left messages for 3 '5 star' companies who didn't call back until today. Chez was there in less than his original ETA of 45 minutes. He was courteous, efficient & very professional. As well, when he told me what the issue was, I goggled it & the general cost of repair & he was right on target! perfectly in the middle & didn't charge a trip fee. NO BS. & for a cherry on top, he WARRANTIES HIS PARTS AND LABOR FOR 2 YEARS!!! :)

I hesitate to write this review, only because knowing about Chez feels like a local secret!

It was a Thursday in June. My AC quit on me. Fox Service couldn't come out until Monday. Oh helllll no!

Our friends had told us about Chez... so we called him. He said he'd come out that day sometime after 6. The guy is busy, but he kept his word. It was close to 9 by the time he could make it, and he fixed the unit in about 6 minutes. Talk about good ol' fashioned service. He was super nice, too.

Go local people! In this heat, you can't afford not to.
